Smartphones are a huge distraction. I end up checking it compulsively all day, scrolling through social media apps, watching youtube, etc. They are very damaging to my mental health so I stopped using them. I do the same thing at my PC, but it's easier to walk away from it and I can't take it when I leave my room or use it in bed.
