And I've only read 4 so far. How do I stop consooming so many books? I do plan on reading all of them eventually though, so maybe I shouldn't stop.

People moronic enough to ask questions like “durrr uhh like how do I stop buying shit” are far too stupid to be helped by any advice
Nah, I'm pretty sure I'm more intelligent than you.
You buy books to feel good. I get it. Just don't go to bookstores until you finish your pile. It's a simple solution.
I buy everything from Amazon.
Block Amazon.
Why should I stop though? Having more books shouldn't be a bad thing, right?
Should've expected this would be a garbage thread with a moronic OP when I first read the word "consooming".
I think you should learn some reading comprehension before coming to IQfy. Yes, while my original post was about how to stop consooming books, I raised the question at the end of whether or not buying more books is a bad thing. Ultimately the thread is supposed to be a reflection on whether or not buying books nonstop is a good or a bad thing rather than a simple question of "how to stop buying books?". Can't believe I had to explain that...
Enjoy your books.
Should I stop buying them though?
>And I've only read 4 so far. How do I stop consooming so many books? I do plan on reading all of them eventually though, so maybe I shouldn't stop.
There's only one sentence here with a question mark. Can you see which one it is?
Are you so dense? You wanted to buy less books because you are not reading what you have—choosing instead to post to IQfy. Blocking Amazon solves the immediate problem presented in your original post, but you don't want to do that. Don't ask for help then. Aim to buy 300 next year. BOL.
Buy a book or two a week. Don’t binge buy
Why?
It gives you motivation to read what you got and then you can look forward to the book you’ll buy next week. When I’ve bought 4+ books at a time I always lost complete interest in one or two by the time I would have got to it. Of course you’ll always have it, and that is the beauty of a library; you can read at any time. A good library will always have some unused books but if majority of your books are unread, you have a little problem, unless you’ve read 2000 books and own 10,000. I just think it will keep you more focused and motivated. Plus you get to look forward to a new book every week
Hum, good post, I didn't think that way. I'll try to buy a book per week then from now on.
It also makes choosing your next book an experience in itself. I always have a list of a few dozen that I’m interested in and I’ll put thought and take my mood into account
Oh look Another meandering gayg0t who exists just to posit stupid questions and waste everyones time.
You could uuuh I don't maybe just ignore the fricking thread you fricking idiot?
Use the library

Why are you so mad?
You mad. You big mad baby.
