I don't fricking understand

Why did Microsoft introduce these moronic requirements in the first place?
It is known that they love to spy on their users and sell their data for money
These requirements are blocking 95% of their potential customers that they could make money of

What the frick is the reason for this shit, it makes no sense, I thought microsoft would love easy spyware money

You can easily bypass them with rufus.

Myth (at least when it comes to windows itself).

I am pretty sure that nowadays all the people who actually have use case for Windows either have hardware thats officially supported or their hardware is good enough to boot it with rufus bypass. If you have at least a decent sandy bridge CPU then you should be able to run 11 just fine. If not, you would probably be better with linux or with buy some newer hardware.

you can bypass it? and it does crash w11?

OP doesn't remember windows vista. I had a laptop where it ran fine but only if you cracked it since that disabled all the checks that would block installation then cripple the system if you did manage to install it

      >it ran fine
Holy zoomer shit, it ran like shit unless you had 1 or 2gb ram, the stupid thing was most XP machines at the time were "Vista certified" because they could be "upgraded" to 2/4gb ram but only had 256/512MB.
It was only that 7 arrived and fixed that than machines ran fine with less ram.

My PC didn't meet the win 11 requirements, but then I updated my BIOS for the first time in 5 years and suddenly my PC was compatible with win 11. I guess it's cuz the bios update added fTPM functionality?

You don't want it anyhow, unless you use a kvm switch and constantly power/switch your monitor and all your autismal window positions are lost.

I made a post on /fwtg/ asking about all the issues I've had with windows 11 and no one helped or answered me.

The OS itself relies on security updates that check and push its current architecture around TPM. You're free to do as you wish, but its not wise to upgrade an OS with a dependency around something if it doesn't have that driver. You should install gentoo.
