Normies deserve to be forcibly updated. They refuse to update then shit their pants when they get fricked by a vulnerability that was patched over a year ago.
If you can't stop these forced updates on your own you are a normie. Get vaxxed, b***h.
Nearly all of those vulnerability don't affect normies or home users. One of the biggest was from a year or two ago and it was a very esoteric bug in SMBv2, which isn't even installed on 10 Home by default. Most shit requires you to fullfil a laundry list of very specific things to trigger the bug or exploit on your end.

based. Windows 11 was my reason to switch Mint Cinnamon. I HATE how they hide shit behind unneeded context menus for the sense of "upgrade". FRICK YOU, MICROSOFT.
Those who make the programs that I need to use for my job.
Once they decide its time to migrate so will I. Its gay and I hate it and I thought windows 10 was supposed to be the """last""" windows those stupid fricking israelites
>windows 10 was supposed to be the """last""" windows
because it is. half of win11 still says "Windows 10". It even shares the licencing with win10, a windows 10 licence is also a win11 one and vice versa.
"YOU VILL UPGRADE AND YOU VILL LIKE IT" has been microsoft's support model since the 80s and they (along with every other major software manufacturer) are going to force you and the rest of us freaks to """upgrade""" to the win10+ ecosystem by breaking software compatibility and kneecapping apis like python for it, which in turn drives software developers away from older versions of windows because it becomes more and more of a hassle to maintain over time.
i'm not even trying to be a doomposter here, this is just how proprietary closed-source software works. less people would complain if m$ wasn't the antichrist and wasn't hellbent on making windows physically excruciating to use but that's corporate america for you
I actually liked w11 for a bit, didn't mind having to replace the context menu. But then I noticed things like desynched audio on streams being much more apparent than usual and shit copying just slower between drives and I had to leave it behind. It's still not where 10 is. I thought it was as responsive but then I guess you actually have to do things to see where the differences lie. I hope these sorts of things get fixed, I don't want to stay on 10 for too long.
Why
because its gay
unironically more difficult to rice than gentoo
>rice
kys
>I WANNA FRICK YOU
whoa anon you gotta take me to a dinner first
My laptop came with Windows 11 installed. It uses at least 6GB of RAM. I am wiping and installing Windows 10.
my laptop came with macos monterey
install gentoo
im sorry you feel that way anonymous
Then don't. Use 10 or 7 if you don't mind the incompatibility with some shit.

Any Debian 11 Enjoyers?

Things I need need Windows.
Thankfully nothing needs Windows 11
>yet
I'd rather switch to MacOS
you may cry and rage, but you WILL eventually upgrade. you always do.
I'll have to, yes. You are correct.
I refuse to stop kicking and screaming along the way though.
good for you
Yup.
But not before I completely switch my personal workspace over to a Linux destro.
i dare ya.
no? yeah, that's what i thought, b***h.
I'm still browsing around.
EndeavourOS has piqued my interest, but if that turns out to be shit I think I'll go with Manjaro.
but those are memes because they are based on arch, and arch breaks a lot if you are not familiar with it
I have autism so that ain't a problem; I am good at both programming and fixing stuff.
Any suggestions for other distros?
>Any suggestions for other distros?
no, just try as many of them as possible, nobody knows which one will work for you the best
start with common ones
I have until 2032 until win10 Iot stops getting security updates
Until then linux desktop will surely become good
Security updates don't mean shit for 99% of home users.

Why do you need to install Windows, if you can use Manjaro?
I works well though.
Macbook + XboX (or PS5 is you're a sissy) is the ultimate redpill

Werks on my machine.
nakadashi manaka
Unironically windows 11 convinced me to go full linux. Never put shitskins as CEO.
then don't. whos making you get it?

Once they decide its time to migrate so will I. Its gay and I hate it and I thought windows 10 was supposed to be the """last""" windows those stupid fricking israelites
once that happens you can probably get away with an embedded/LTSC version once its out, they are less intrusive
>windows 10 was supposed to be the """last""" windows

t: jumped ship straight from from 7, as soon as 10 was announced

I kinda want to install 11 on my desktop just because it runs so smooth on my laptop.
I actually liked w11 for a bit, didn't mind having to replace the context menu.
