I have a facial deformity so the degree would've been useless anyways. 99% of graduate jobs are determined by physical appearance alone unless you're super talented and/or well connected.

I'm working at a F100 firm. I also have a facial deformity in the form of only having one eye. Everyone at top engineering firms is at least partially dysgenic because pretty privilege doesn't exist in truly technical fields. You flunked out because you're moronic not because of your looks.

maybe it's different in the us, maybe it's different in engineering but you can't seriously think acceptable looks aren't an asset for most graduate jobs. Even in STEM. Most professors and students I've seen are at least somewhat charismatic and attractive. Maybe you're just really talented and got into Harvard, Yale or whatever the top schools in the US are in which case well done. But for 90% of graduates, 90% of stem graduates even "people skills"/decent looks are essential.

I dropped out because if I continued to my masters I'd have to at least partially fund accommodation the 4th year (would've cost me the equivalent of $6-8k) and with no internships or job experience + the fact I didn't attend a single lecture in 3rd year so my profs (who I only spoke to like once or twice) hated me meant it wasn't worth it. Technically I have a 2:1 but it's in a subject where most people go into further study and a bsc by itself is quite worthless alongside no actual experience. The university itself is also shit and I sort of considered it a scam for free student loan $$$

I wish, I went to a shitty unranked state school with no network. I'm considered average at best skill wise. Just jump ship from your company every 2-3 years and eventually you get into higher tier jobs.

People want to hang around ugly people it makes themselves feel attractive. If I'm around younger stronger more attractive people all the time my confidence goes to shit. I suspect with your deformity you have gained quirks that make you psychologically hard to reach as a survival mechanism. I would start microdosing if I were you. Personally I macro dose once a year.

Got dismissed from STEM uni after failing the main grades too many times in a row, depression + low IQ didn't let me study, and I couldn't just get away with ChatGPT because exams were on paper (which is absolutely fricking moronic, nobody programs on a fricking paper)
Subhuman wageslaving + slowly crypto grinding is all that's left for my absolutely moronic ass
I will never get rich on crypto too, since I started so late and already missed all the big booms that made crypto viable
