I finally got a few books instead of lurking here. I don't know how you guys read epubs for that long on a desktop. Are these good enough for a beginner?

You could realistically read this in one day. And honestly you should be able to. I know i could.
which one did you enjoy the most?
Damn that's sad, you sound like you've never read a book in your entire life. I'm sure you've skimmed through a lot of books, but you've never actually read one.
I don't want to.
are you in 10th grade by chance
(You) are pseud midwit DESPERATE to seem intelligent but failing badly
all of these works are studied by doctorates in university. gonna show us your Nietzsche next, queer?
seething mutt
Youre even more queer for shittalking nietzsche, a mind so purportedly fricked up can only amount to a thrilling reading experience, unlike fricking austen or murakami or boring wineo heminggay (get it i said heminggay like hes gay) atleast gatekeepers can back their shit up, Austen is the true queers pick you fricking queer, frick austen and frick nietzsche, read ovid, hunter s thompson and borges like a real heterosexual.
lol u seething midwit the guy is a beginner and youre trying to score points like a tard. Oh wow, hunter s thompson, babbys first drug journo. THO IMPRESSIVE
absolute maniac
Lol, OK and if you haven't read most of those before graduating highschool it's embrassing. take care, dumbass.
no. Most of the IQfy chart books or philosophy were unavailable. I'll get them online I guess.
Dude, thhe books you have are classics. read em and enjoy em and then read other stuff
its not that complicated
ok.
Yeah it's a good list. Enjoy the ride. Murakami and Hemingway are particularly comfy. Don't rush it.
I'll start with short stories first I think.
Yeah those are unironically good picks for a beginner.

We read epubs in E-books
Read Hemingway first. I don't think A Farewell to Arms is his absolute best, but it is very good. See, he can't get a (reliable?) erection, and this is the cause of much of the narrative's internal anxiety. And then there's the last half of the book when you're in Pamploma, and they're all getting absolutely hammered, and it's just an overall pleasant read. And it's all very quick, like what 150 pages? Get tight (or don't, whatever) and read it.
I'm stupid, that's The Sun Also Rises. A Farewell to Arms is actually a lot more depressing but the better book of the two if I had to pick.
