DDoSing is a natural consequence networking. If someone can communicate with you they can also spam you with garbage or well crafted trvth nvkes that make you stop what you are doing an question reality for the rest of the day

Anything with their Searchlight/Spotlight or whatever they call their captcha alternative is basically garbage that goes after VPNs. I'm on Mullvad and I spend a long time thinking it was maybe my blockers or other firefox addons, user agent spoofer etc.. but it wasn't. turn it all off and it still complains and doensn't tell you why.
Frick that garbage - you can click on the "i'm a human" box time and time again and it just reloads the damn thing. Sometimes it rarely works first try or without having to check anything, but most of the time it doesn't.
My problem is: I'm not even in VPN, this frick just hates me. Why they're using a """captcha""" if they're just going to ignore your "proof"

Don't even waste time with complex federated/decentralized protocols, just make something simple, people will find a way.
