      You should be glad the khwarezmians were destroyed when they were. Muhammad Shah was making overtures to the shia and planned to march on Baghdad

      Why are Americans so obsessed with rape on this website
      Not to mention the demographic balance of Arabs in the 7th century wouldn't even allow them to make a dent on the Iranian gene pool

    Buyids and safavids are the significant ones. Some interesting developments hapenned in the tiny northern kingdoms as well.

          Frick off. Each time Westerners show an "interest" in Iran's culture, you cause more damage. You are no different than israelites, and I do not want your attention. Frick. Off.

        If you think we'd be;
        a) executing via scaphism
        b) reading/chanting any manthra via torturing anyone

        Then you're just a larping homosexual so stop calling yourself Zoroastrian

      Honestly the more you read about zoroastrianism the more intrigued you are by it especially it’s ties to mithras and even to some duelist faiths sucks the muslim bedouin Black folk had to destroy just about everything that we know about them.

        Mithras, the roman mystery cult, took from Zoroastrianism. At no point in Zoroastrian history was the roman cult seen as kindred by us, nor its practice encouraged.
        Mithra, Mihr Yazat, is a God for us. Mithras is his corruption.

    I am not muslim but honestly the rise of the Safavids and the whole story of Ismail I is kind of amazing , its kind of a weird "chosen one" story. Raised by a Twelver Shia/Sufi cult to become a destinied heredetary ruler.

      Ismail wasn't born a twelver. People get thsi wrong about him and the safavids. They had their own exclusive sufi order that was wildly different from twelver shi'ism. He became a twelver because he was raised by twelvers in Northern Iran after his father was killed.

      It's kino because he was the first one to reunify all of iran after the fall of the sassanids. The caliphate and its successor states could never conquer the northern kingdoms. They tried and succeeded in establishing themselves but were always kicked out.
