Don't listen to those Black folk shilling their bootcamps/courses. I have a degree myself and have a harder time getting into webdev because I'm competing with cs grads and the field is saturated as frick for the entry level.
Only gotten one interview the past month since I fell for the viral marketing and lern2code(synonymous with learn web dev nowadays)
Whatever you do, choose something other than webdev.

I feel like this is misguided. Demand for web development isn't going anywhere, and AI sure as shit is not going to kill that job anytime soon. The market is currently very competitive right now, but that is likely going to change too.
I wonder if all the doomers here are just trying to get people to quit/suicide themselves in order to improve job prospects quicker? Y'all some scheming ass homies.
you're not too late. you're just making excuses because you don't want to work hard.
tbh its not too late until like 45-50 for a new career, just be mindful that shit like software dev careers are hard to get later in life
IT is kinda easy, some stem fields, medicine especially are forgiving (though anything beyond a nurse is time consuming)
I don't know what to do. I've spent most of my life in front of a computer. I have no hobbies that would make me money. Inmust also get out of my comfort zone.
I mean yeah, waking up at around 5:00 AM every weekday & some weekends w/ mandatory overtime probably is out of your comfort zone. Grunt work which is given to beginners also tends to be particularly uncomfortable.
Maybe it's more bearable if you go in ready to half-ass everything while personality-wise pretending to be a good worker - like a go-getter who fricks things up so they give you less work but dont wanna fire you

Surely, Machine Learning has to be the new safe market now?
Get that shit off your head, you’ve got a reputation to maintain
I need to figure something out very depressed
go to community college bro
For what, college is a scam to funnel money to the upper class.
alright, no offense but you're a lost cause. bye.

not going to college is a guaranteed way to remain the same social class or even become lower class once neoliberalism dries up every resource
