Sure if it's some rich old person using an iPhone just to make some phone calls or browse the net a little every now and again i would agree
But otherwise you are spending much more for much less features and you can't even explain why

I owned a Nexus 4. It died after one year. Then I got a Nexus 5. Wifi issues after one year. Then I got a Pixel. Wifi issues after a few months. Dead after a year. Then Pixel 4. Dead after a year.
Just as my Pixel 4 died, I got iPhone 12 as a gift. I was reluctant as first and thought about all the iToddler bullshit and expected it to get slow in a few months.
But it's working well after two fricking years now. It's the same as it was on the first. No performance issues, battery aged which is expected but overall it's good.
The conclusion is, yes Apple products are pricey but the fact that they are still in business is because they make good stuff. When someone tries it, they stay.
I've had the same Motorola for 5 years and it's fine. Dropped the shit out of it many times and never had the screen break. Amazing battery life. Shitty camera is the only downside. It's was $240. That's a QUARTER of what an iPhone costs. Imagine paying over a thousand dollars for a baby rattle.
I see it as a sign of extremely low intelligence. This is because even Android users can be stupid af too, mostly those with a Samsung phone. As an example, I have 2 colleagues and 2 friends that use an Android, they don't like ads, I told them about Rethink, Revanced, Brave, xManager and other things and they keep using the shit full of ads. My stepdad uses an iPhone and it was the same shit. Tried Brave, like having no ads, went back to YouTube app and Safari. Thankfully another friend listens to me and is using Revanced and installed Neo Store to explore alternative apps.
Apple is much superior to Android and I say this as someone who uses Linux. The UI on android is god awful and it doesn't matter how you customize it. I was always missing notifications. And the apps are much on iOS. iBook is by far the best. Same with the notes program. Also girls don't date guys with androids

Software is nice. Hardware is more than enough for any application. Can also resell device after a few years of use to recoup some of the cost.
