No idea, but <pic attached> is my best shot at a fun evening at a Chinese restaurant with fictional characters. The key is to balance good talkers and good listeners. Doc, Gandalf & LL all have a huge fund of interesting stories and wisdom. Rosalind will keep LL interested in proceedings and Melanie will be a civilizing influence.
I'd probably have to pick someone from ancient greek literature, more specifically the illiad and odyssey, narrowing it down more then that would be a difficult pick
I met a character from my novel in a dream.
decided to drop the work after 2nd draft but meeting the gal was a perk.
her name was Kayleigh. kind of a high-strung, attractive psychology student, wavy, dirty-blonde hair, wore oversized glasses for the aesthetics. she was a secondary love interest who lived across the street from the protagonist - not even a main character in the story. there was a karaoke scene. she must have resonated on some deep level for my brain to pull that one out.
in before >you suck ngmi
yeah shut up. I told you I dropped it.
think I'd like to meet Nicholas Nickleby. I feel like we would be friends.
Kilgore Trout would be a hoot as well.
Christ, and I'm not being facetious. He'd be the one I want to meet. Once an anon on /x/ claimed he met Christ at a houseparty. Normal looking guy, was shuffling a pack of cards, and told anon that whatever card he picked was his own (Christ's). anon picked a random card and it was the King of Hearts. Christ (?) smiled and walked away into the night. I thought that was pretty cool.
The Old Prince Bolkonsky. I want to see what an “old guard” aristocrat was like. And probably Alcibiades as well. Just to see what an unhinged ancient was like.
Aslan would be cool. He's a lion who talks.
Great answers in this thread.

The author of My Diary tbh, the greatest literary work humanity has ever produced.
