No because God is most fair, people of hellfire will never enter it until they're convinced they deserved the punishment, and they'll enter hell while thanking God because he judged them justly.

            >If you reject God's message and his warnings then you'll get punished, simple as.
it's always just kind of taken as a given in these discussions that, well, of course god has to punish you for all eternity for going against his wishes. But, like, no he doesn't. It doesn't fulfill any purpose
Really the only serious rationales we have for punishment in the real world are retribution and rehabilitation. Some people are just extremely wrathful and bloodthirsty and want to hurt others who wrong them, and then some people only view punishment as being a way to psychologically condition people to stop doing bad things.
God's rationale obviously isn't rehabilitative because hell is permanent. It doesn't matter if you see the error of your ways, because you're just going to keep getting punished anyway. So we have to assume punishment is being doled out simply because god is angry and wants to hurt us for our transgressions. And I would imagine that the supreme creator of the universe, from whom all goddness necessarily emanates, wouldn't just be some spiteful c**t.
            >Alright, frick you, Timmy! You whacked it one too many times, now I'm gonna fricking hurt you! Forever!
yeah, that's the guy I want to worship, sounds good

Again, you wouldn't enter hell until you're fully convinced that you deserve it, just as there's a hell where rapists/child killers/ usurygays...etc will be tortured for their crimes against God and humanity, there's also heaven, where its the exact opposite of hell, made for people who believed in God's true message(Islam) and obayed his laws, the existence of both heaven and hell are crucial so you'd also strive to achive the former and do everything you could to avoid the latter, which brings me to my next point
            >for going against his wishes
What exactly are God's "wishes"? What exactly does God commands and forbids? God's law(sharia) encourages being pure, pious, competing in doing good, affirming righteous deeds and forbidden evil and ensuring a healthy, prosperous, God fearing society, while engaging in the things God forbid go directly against all of that which includes hate, deceiving, stealing, ruining people's lives, killing, degeneracy...etc.
Just as how God doesn't love evil and promises eternal torture for those who endorsed it, God is also the most gracious, most merciful, a mother's love for her child could never hold a candle to God's mercy to mankind, all that he requires from you is your recognition of him as your one and only God, as well as accepting his message, doesn't matter what past you had and what evil you've committed, God forgives all, and this door of repentance is always open until you die. Just now you've been given God's message Islam which you keep dismissing let alone bothering to learn about it, just remember that all of yout actions, whether good or bad, will have consequences.
            >you whacked it one too many times, now I'm gonna fricking hurt you! Forever!
Praying to God and asking for forgiveness not only clears all those sins, but rewards you with good deed as well, even if you came back to it, as long as your repentance is pure and are trying your best to avoid it, God's mercy is always there for those who ask for it.

But some people objected to that because people would not then trust the revelation. But we say that God bestowed on the prophet the necessary knowledge by which he would discern between Gabriel and the demon."

Muhammad married a 7 year old named Aisha. Child rape and overall rape is a noted staple of the Islamic "culture". Everywhere Muslims go, rape and child rape skyrocket. Stop pretending that the religion of the historically low-IQ and most barbaric is the correct one.

    Shocking

You don’t even need to be religious or take hell literally to see the value in such a belief. If you act purely out of self interest, and in a way which people in your society would consider “immoral,” then your name will forever be associated with that kind of a character. Your reputation will be burning in hell, which is functionally the same thing. You’re stuck on the metaphors of antiquity which are meant to keep Roman Empire plebs in check, since the IQ/EQ of the masses at that time would've been middle school tier. You’re missing the forest for the trees, likely due to your own attachment issues

So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

If you take this parable literally that means there’s a Greek-style afterlife where if you were a good person but a pagan or whatever you’d still have an okay afterlife, which is clearly not the modern Christian concept of eternal hell

            have a nice day
            >Placement in the afterlife is conditioned on moral behaviors during life based on this parable
except God literally tells the rich miser in hell (or, whoops, sorry, I mean Hades, totally different) that the only way for his family to not wind up in eternal hellfire (Hadesfire?) with him is to follow the teachings of Moses. Not just to not be a dickhead like the rich man was.
