None of these are classics, so I wouldn't choose any. You may argue that I'm arguing semantics, but you chose to say "classics graduate student".

Crazy that you're a graduate student yet this low IQ.

            >graduate student
Only a (probably failed) graduate student would
            >project that status
            >think it would insult someone's intellect
No one cares. You can't add to the convo. Kill. Thyself.

I suppose M&D just because many if not most literature grad students in the west have already read the rest. Also, Pynchon does provide good fodder for discussion but would probably go with ATD since it leaves far less room for autism derailments of the sorts classicists are likely to go off on.

*crack* *sip* yeah a whole semester. I'd say baudrilliard if I had to pick one. Wittgenstein if you did both TLP and PI. Tell you what, that red head has me at half chub already. I liked her with a bit of meat on her in GOT, good sign of child bearing. Bet that red hair puss tastes like nectar.

Why not read actual classics? Plenty of greek n roman stuff. I would recommend Rousseau off that list. The rest are pomo bs; most pomo folx have read them n classics students might not care...

I'm gettin a pint right now. Pomo bs is for pseuds. I double majored in classics and philosophy and the entire corpus of all the pomo bs ever created is not even half as enlightening as a singe work of Plato or Aristotle.

There's plenty of obscure romans and greeks, even medievals and renaissance philosophers, which would be superior to anything on the OP list

          >plato
          >aristotle
My fricking sides. Why does real non-israeli literature filter pseuds this hard?
