I'm a?

I'm a IQfyizen who wants to learn how to code. How do I learn coding? I've been watching yt videos on full courses for java and c but it's mostly being lost on me because I have no projects to do with said info. How do I opt into a coding/programming oriented mindset?

First you need to find a small problem you really want to solve. Something that pisses you off so much you want to redirect all your rage into solving. That's how you end up motivating yourself to finish something, and it's exactly the same as doing SS until you can finally squat 2pl8. Take that "i hate being a dyel" hate and turn it into "i hate being a codelet".
Then acquire the engineering mindset of understanding that a computer is not a person, but a machine. You are to lay components very carefully so that you put one thing in one end, and after the thing passes through all your components, it is transformed into something else. For this there are a few games like Lightbot or The Incredible Machine.
Then you need to stop posting reddit frogs.

      First part:
      >find a computer problem you would like to solve
      >(one that the prospect of solving will keep you motivated)
      >find out how to do it
      >ask questions online
      >do not stop until your simple program is complete
      Part 2:
      >Bask in your accomplishment
      >addon to your project to make it better
      >post it online
      Part 3
      >pick a more advanced problem
      >repeat steps 1-2 for this problem

Like every skill on earth, it is not too different from getting super IQfy. Start slow, don't bite off more than you can chew. Learn from others. Don't be afraid of failure, while never setting yourself up to fail in a way that you gain nothing from it.

Start with something easy, like Javascript or Python. I say Javascript, because you can make a website afterwards.

      >based motivated personal problem-solver learner mind
Are you me? Either way I wish you good fortune in your future problem-solving.

      >First part:
      >find a computer problem you would like to solve
I would like an AI to automati ally tag and sort my porn.
      >(one that the prospect of solving will keep you motivated)
Hard to stay motivated when I take a jerk off break every 15 minutes
      >find out how to do it
Used to look into tensorflow for it, back in 2018
      >ask questions online
Not unless it's in an anymore board anon...
      >do not stop until your simple program is complete
I don't know anon, his it really worth it?
      Part 2:
      >Bask in your accomplishment
      Kek
      >addon to your project to make it better
What could make an auto porn sorter better? A bot that finds new porn that is catered to my desires.
      >post it online
      Kek

      Part 3
      >pick a more advanced problem
More advanced than an AI porn sorter?
      >repeat steps 1-2 for this problem

      >>do not stop until your simple program is complete

slight caveat here. it's fine to bounce around in the formative stage, makes more sense to take away 90% of what you could have learned from project A and apply it going forward, rather than getting stuck for a week.

Computer programs are tools used to solve a problem, accomplish a task, or provide entertainment.
What type of problem would you like to solve, or what kind of task would you like to perform?

Pick a small project or game that has a Youtube tutorial to follow along with -- but don't just copy everything exactly. Modify things for fun and curiosity

Maybe start working through about Concrete Math (picrel) even if it takes years

1.) if you want to make money doing it, it is more important that you learn something else, like flint-chipping or demolition with explosives or cosmetologist and write computer programs for that faculty. You don't need to be a good programmer for that.
2.) Programming requires a mysterious set of talents that are independent from intelligence or literacy. It's like a talent for drawing or the gift of the gab. Women, including intelligent, successful STEM-trained women, typically suck at programming, so much in fact, that boys as young as ten can't believe that anyone can be that stupid when discussing programming with otherwise achieved females.
3.) This is disputed, but I don't know any better, so there you go: You need a more or less gapless end-to-end understanding of the timeless fantasy automated calculation machine, aka computer. You should know how something like red dead redemption 2 can be built from switches and all the steps in between.
4.) Innumerable routes to programming exist, all more or less equally adequate or inadequate. Just do it, and if something does not work out, try something simpler or a simpler programming language or both.
