        She isn’t.
The book is a filter. Good people find it revolting, those who praise it as their favorite, are pedophiles.

They wouldn’t touch anyone over the age of 12

No no. I’m a Stirner reading atheist.
A better book, with unreliable narrator and an age gap romance, is Yourcenar’s Memoirs of Hadrian.
You put the book down after a quick read through and think, wow, what a n interesting noble emperor. But the whole tragedy of the romance comes back to you and you wonder what actually happened. You have to rethink this self serving memoir. Was he just as creepy as H.H.?

I wouldn't but I'd still get called an incel anyways. Let's be honest the term incel is mostly used to bomb mgtows.

The idea is not to portray is as epic or romantic if it's something we as a society logically conclude is undesirable (like war or diddling kids).

Women (or rather, mutts) are literally incapable of seeing literature as more than
      >but what MESSAGE does it promote?!

Usually, an author is trying to convey a message with their story anon.

People DO enjoy the glory and violence of war though. An intelligent person would use a story about that to reflect on the nature of man and decide what kind of person they want to be. A woman would cry about it and demand that it be shunned

If you need your art to moralize for you, you're an irredeemable moron. The story is told by Humbert, Hubert is a depraved pervert and fine with being one. Kind of like today's homos and trannies.

    >I’m failing to see how she’s wrong.
    e-girlta literally doesn't exist.
Delores Hayes doesn't exist, she's a character created by Humbert Humbert.
The girl in the meta-narrative that Humbert Humbert projected Delores Hayes and e-girlta onto doesn't exist, she's a character created by Vladimir Nabokov.

Vladimir Nabokov is pictured in the book collecting butterflies: ignorant readers. He is here to have fun by raping an imaginary imaginary imaginary imaginary child in front of you.

Did you enjoy the hospital rape? Did you enjoy Quilty's Cousin filling her cavities?

The average IQ on this board has declined to such an extent that nobody's even pointed out the obvious — she fully understands the book. She got it. She just thinks Nabokov is too stupid to see what he's obviously done. The type of arrogance only overschooled white women/Jewesses posses.

Add to that, the idea that if a work makes you uncomfortable it must be bad is so fricking lizard-brained. But yeah, you hit the nail on the head. I can't understand how people can delude themselves that Nabokov is presenting HH as in the right. He literally has a speech about impregnating her and then raping his own children. Ada is the actually romantic Nabokov.

e-girlta is a book rich in literary references, puns, alliteration, parody, plays on words, comedic hyperbole, pastiche, and double entendres constantly interwoven. e-girlta is for the reader who sees the words "oh, a squashed squirrel," or Humbert making fun of his own name being similar to the word hamburger, and chuckles. e-girlta is for the reader who listens to Humbert talking nostalgically about his childhood in a princedom by the sea and says "hey, that's like Poe's Annabelle Lee."

Noctvrnal apparently didn't pick up on any of these things. Maybe she's incapable of it since public education has taught her only how to identify victims in texts and write about indignant moral outrage.
