I'm confused. How can you be tech-savvy enough to want to install and use Linux, but ignorant enough to frick around with your partitions without verifying that your backups are complete and up-to-date?
Restore from whatever imperfect backup you do have. If you don't have any, it was only a matter of time before you lost your data anyway.

not as long as you don't tell it to or have a Windows.Old folder (seriously, if you have data from a previous windows installation in Windows.Old, migrate it. I made the mistake of assuming that Windows will merge them once, because that's the default behavior windows exhibits unlike Unix, MacOS, BSD and Linux. But this is the one exception to that rule)

Clone your hdd to another drive if you can. In not backup your files/programs then install Linux on your ssd

never install linux alongside windows, either go all the way and write over the whole disk and use only linux or stick to using WSL

ahahaha it's always biz or school gear these morons are using
you're fricked. not only are you fricked, it's been recorded. the reason your windows lost its bitlocker keys is because a policy triggered the deletion of the keys when you fricked with the boot systems, which lit up a notification on their management consoles that you've attempted to install unauthorized software. your IT people already know and are probably talking to your boss or bosses about how you've likely either been tricked into installing malicious software on their computers by someone online, or seem to believe that company property is your personal property to frick with. both bad.

There's no realistic way to restore the PCRs, I don't think.
Maybe if you boot from a live system, delete the Linux partition and resize the Windows one back to what it was?
And also change the Windows bootloader configuration, however the frick that's controlled these days.

It should have required you to save the Bitlocker key somewhere after you enabled it.

IQfy always claims Bitlocker encryption sucks over Veracrypt or whatnot, isn't there a way to crack it? Or just make the thing boot again really? What did Linux frick up?
