My elderly neighbour was once extorted by these people. They came to his house, pit up a ladder and did zero work. They claimed they had fixed up his roof (lol) then demand thousands of pounds. Half a dozen of them pulled the guy into the van, took him to the bank and made him give them £3000. I found out from him after, then later the guys came BACK to him to demand more, so we called the police in front of the scum and they left. Anyway, months later the guy still hasn't got his money back, the police have no idea who these people are (because pikeys are nomadic), and that's that basically.
They are notorious scammers, thieves, criminals, thugs, drunks, rapists. Roll up into town, scam, steal, and plunder, then they move onto the next host town. The only people that defend this behaviour are literal communists who claim it's just racism and their way of life...
