fitlit was always going to fail because IQfyizens are too midwit and normiepilled to get past entry level literature. Once you start reading you realize that modern fitness culture is just a weird fad that people use as a surrogate activity to cope for the existential meaninglessness of their lives, to feel “productive”. Fit is just too lowbrow for IQfy.

Modern fitness culture isn’t about being healthy at all, that’s my point. If it was they would do cardio for 30-45 minutes a day. Instead they go to the gym and do useless, unnatural movements that strengthen your muscles but barely do anything for your ligature, your suppleness, and your heart. It’s all about looking good and feeling like you’ve contributed something to society when in fact you haven’t.

You’ve deluded yourself into thinking that you’re “improving” yourself for picking up a barbell for 2 hours every day. Therefore because I think that that is idiotic you assume I am against improving yourself at all. It’s peak surrogate activity.

            >It’s peak surrogate activity.
Lifting is actually one of the few popular things in the modern world which isn't a surrogate activity.

          Your point is silly because
1- You can do cardio and heavy exercise as well, they're not mutually exclusive.
2- Quality of life isn't just living longer. Having muscles can not only help you with your daily life if you ever need to use them, but they also decrease instances of muscle pain due to poor conditioning. You're less likely to have back pains from sitting around all day for example.
3- Stronger muscles will provide a better life when you're old, maintaining your mobility and independence for longer.

Typing on a keyboard, not being afraid for your life when you get the flu, shampooing your hair, putting on deodorant, listening to music through speakers, hell, even playing the vast majority of instruments can't truly be considered natural. Frick off with this, "but it's not natural" bullshit. Get rid of your toilet, then, homosexual. Oh, and plumbing? Why are you participating in this evil society which encourages everyone to go against their nature? Wait, you're telling me you brush your teeth? Every day? With a toothbrush? Fit is between 6 and 7, because the average is supposed to be strong according to internet statistics (not just broscience supposedly) but irl most people seem much weaker so I'm not sure how relatively strong I am.
Do IQfy texts counts? Because if so, I'm around 7-8 due to the amount of scientific literature I read. Otherwise I'm 5, I really want to read a few specific books but have no time whatsoever. I was enjoying Kafka for my German classes (bilingual version) but I'd like to get a little better at German before trying again.
Aiming for 8 fit and 8 lit (or just 6 if /scilit/ isn't a thing).

      Anonymous

Well 8 specifically requires the greeks, so if youre not well versed with them it doesnt matter what scifi you read. Im a 7 because ive only read some basic aristotle, plato, socrates. Marcus aurelius and the stoics were roman though right as well as cicero and more so I dont see how “the greeks” is so important. Idk heraclitus or any of those gays so I’m stuck at 7 for that reason.

        Anonymous

Guess that's fair, I'm not really exploring the literary world if I'm not reading it. Guess I'll just have to knock them down eventually.
