For dumb reasons. Gentoo works best with systemd.
There is literally no reason to run Gentoo on a desktop.
you can have systemd-less arch too if you so desperately want to join the autist club
Attack surface is a huge problem with systemd
Void > gentoo
Define "attack surface".
No.
Use google you ignorant frickwad
You can install Gentoo with systemd. Sometimes, I heard. Every time I tried there were circular dependencies from the fresh install. Not that Arch is immune. Are you sure these are doing anything for you that Kubuntu doesn't?
If you want a debloated linux linux
No ifs or buts about it
Do you want to develop your stuff locally? Install Gentoo.
>why people hate systemd?
Meme reasons and the bloat mostly. And you can trim down that bloat by coompiling -> install Gentoo.
gentoo is a meme
use artix or alpine. don't how is artix, but alpine is one of the least bloated distros
>artix
>alpine
Do those projects have any muscle behind them?
NTP and DHCP clients
i only used alpine out of those two
it doesn't even have fuse module and alsa tools installed by default
you have to install some package to run glib programs, or use flatpak. it seems to be distro that's just kernel, coreutils and package manager
i'm not on my pc currently, and that doesn't matter, gentoo is the biggest meme as it requires the most time to install and configure
Fail
Get out of bed you fat frick, it's noon!
it's evening dear sir
>don't use meme!
>use even bigger memes!
Post screenfetch
>and now im considering changing to gentoo
why? what problem are you solving? if you can't answer that then you shouldn't be changing
