If god is defined as a being that has power over the world and its course of actions then we are gods.
What some of us lack is power, in will and action, as in the willingness of undergoing the work necessary to gather resources and use them to solve a problem or reach a desired outcome.
As gods we shall will and act on our will, reshaping our world to fit our desires!
Anyone who answers yes/no is a low IQ mongrel moron. The real answer is that (God is/isn't real) belongs in the set of unfalsifiable claims along with simulation theory, Boltzmann's brains, teapots orbiting between Mars and Jupiter, andmicroscopic invisible unicorns pushing around electrons.
It's not even worth engaging in.
>innumerable gods and innumerable concepts of god
Imagine that they are all the same God. That's The God.
There are specific chairs that you can see and define and pick up and move around, and sit on, and then there is the word "chair". That word, "chair", in your mind, is The Chair.

You asked, "which god".
So give me an example of a real God, and an example of a non real God. If you can do that, I will agree with you that your question was not answered.

>there are no gods that humans do not make ourselves
If the only gods that are real, are the ones we make ourselves, and gods are only made by humans, then "The God" is real, so why did you ask, "which god"? Why didn't you just say, "yes", when asked if god is real? And why did you say that I didn't answer anything, when I did?

>attributes
The attributes are attributed to him by the gods. Just as the attributes of the many chairs are attributed to the concept of what a chair is. (THE CHAIR). It's not whatever attributes I give him. I don't exist in a vacuum. The holy spirit teaches me what God is. I listen to the descriptions, and I attribute these definitions to God.

What is your definition of the word god?

Could mean a lot of things. Being(s) that created reality, being(s) that manipulate humans/events for their own entertainment, the incarnation of "absolute truth" etc. Depends on who you ask really

The clump of neurons in your head, and the ideas they concieve, which has put together this understanding of God, is your relationship with The God.
materialism will never fully explain consciousness and existence, but we don't really know what is behind it all, could be god, probably is, we just don't know
Anon, Pic related.
This homie invented a new religion akin to vodou. The idea behind this is a mixture of perfect realm of ideas or Pleroma and you being God and creating your own reality subjectively. Every person who follows gnostic voudon is aware it's made up , but there are even monasteries.
Just remember that if there's a world of perfect ideas, there is a Monad.
No >b-b-but you need to prove he isn’t real
I haven’t seen god. I haven’t heard god. I haven’t perceived anything that would lead me to believe he is real. The conversation should end here. There is literally nothing you can say to this that isn’t insane. A normal functioning adult should only believe in what can be perceived, what can be derived from what can be perceived, and what can be used to understand what can be perceived. This is how people who are not insane think. And if you think otherwise you should be banned from law school.
In a nuts and bolts mechanical sort of way, consider this:
What if the human race is "blind" or "numb" or can't sense God in a certain way? What if that faculty has been removed from them? Does the blind person know what they are missing? What if everyone was blind and there was no one left to tell them they are blind? They could get on alright, but would still be missing a full, normal experience.
Well, I'm here to tell you that I was once "blind" in that way. I was spiritually dead, as in I couldn't sense my spirit. Like a dead nerve. This is the point where I have to warn you against reading this as if I am some church person with my head in the clouds. Jesus does heal people. He healed their bodies from deformities and blindness while He was on Earth. He "woke up" my dead spirit when I got baptized just like how the disciples did in the Bible. It's a literal 6th sense that humanity lost. So, you cannot deduce that God doesn't exist just because you can't sense Him. It actually is possible to sense Him, and it's not a physical sense. Seek and you will find. Unless you would prefer God didn't exist, in which case the whole world is throwing itself at you to convince you of that. Faith comes by hearing.
Of course he is anon, I see him every time I look in the mirror. After all, there's no better God to believe in than yourself! 🙂

better question, why would an eternal and omnipresent entity allow you to exist? maybe it's cause they're fearful themselves
Yes
I met god and he's Methodist.
Yeah
He's as reel as Israel is real.

yes
God is a cultural creation. But maybe some god exists in afterlife idk, will find out after death.
yes and no
materialism will never fully explain consciousness and existence, but we don't really know what is behind it all, could be god, probably is, we just don't know

No good reason to believe this.
it can solve the easy problem but not the hard problem
There is no "hard problem"
Why is religious stuff allowed here? Go back to /re/

God Israel
yes
yep
Nah
yes, and he boiled for your sins. r'amen.
We have no evidence of gods. Gods are as real as unicorns.
The only reality is
He is either not real or gives no fricks.
Obviously
No

It's not difficult to meet God, in fact, you just need to make a really huge mistake for him to show that he really exists.
Yes.
