can you really count endavour as a "gnome distro"? it offers a bunch of options and calls itself terminal-centric, so i always figured i3 would be the default

SteamOS was GNOME before, check Distrowatch

Endeavour defaulted to Xfce before but they do have a choice in the installer

Old SteamOS is different from current one and is incompatible, it used to be Debian-based but now it's Arch-based. They took an entirely different development approach, only thing they share is the name.

Wayland the protocol isn't the problem, everything including the stupid socket buffer shit and push vs pull is easily fixable.

The fact pretty much all extensions except from some RedHat insiders spend over a decade in review is the problem.

    He's a psycopath, groomer and a Hitler-wannabe

He asked RedHat for a bunch of sponsor money and set up "Outreachy", an internship program for women in opensource, where in fact it was meant to lure women close enough to him so that he can impress them with his high position in the GNOME Foundation so he can groom them. It's painfully obvious that he has some deeply rooted incel issues because every time someone disagrees with him, he calls them a virgin. It must have hurt him to be called that, so he now proudly wields the weapon once wielded against him.

Now that he's married, he's been giving his wife so many mental issues that she has begun transition into identifying as a male. It's only a matter of time when she's had enough and divorces him.

He has terrorized the Linux desktop scene since 2011 with the release of GNOME 3, which was just as good for Linux as Hitler was to the israelites.

Even presuming the holocaust happened exactly as the retroactively edited history books state, it haa been the greatest boon to the israeli people of all time.
For the mere cost of 6 million people, they gained permanent everlasting control over the entire western world by weilding the sword of guilt.

Why does gnome use the most ram despite having the least amount of features?

GNOME has a memory-intensive process running in the background at all times that scans everything you're doing and calculates whether the use case is valid or not.

He's the face of "we don't care about what the users want", but he alone can't be the sole reason. The Gnome project as a whole is probably full of people so high on their own farts that they'd die of withdrawal symptoms if they had to be brought back to reality.
