Is hounour culture holding back the third world?

Should they switch to dignity culture to improve themselves? And I say this as a third-worlder myself.
>Hadn't Zidane fallen for Materazzi's basic taunts, he could've single-handedly won his second world cup, something that even the greatest footballers haven't achieved.
>It was his night, Will Smith won his first Oscar for Best Actor. But he ruined it over a comedian's harmless joke.

    subsaharans don't have any culture
they didn't even exist until 500 year ago
anyway, west isn't a sustainable project
it'll probably go back to some honor culture when it collapses 88 years from now

As long as they stick with dignity culture that seems unlikely.

The third world is usually fear-based (Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa), not honor.

The guy who made up the shaje/guilt/fear thing was halfassing all that shit. Every part of the world makes use a wienertail of shame AND guilt. Fie the few cases if "fear" he initially thought up of ended up with thise groups actually not being fear based.

It's pretty much horoscope tier shit.

Honour culture dies when you stamp it out via a police force and legal system that disincentivises people taking the law into their own hand. It isn't innate to society.

Honour culture isn't just about punishment, but about placing your value onto others' perception.

It is more of a class thing.

Being lower class is like being in prison. When someone takes your cornbread they are testing your strength, if you do nothing it proves you are weak and can be extorted, so you react violently to the slightest infraction to prove you are not a "bitch".

Among the upper class it is different. Your status is determined by what you own and your profession and titles, as opposed to your physical strength. Here insults are just hot air. What are they going to follow it up with? Outbid him on a property he had his eyes on? You have a businessman lives in a world of negotiation where success depends on rationality and cool decision making, then someone goes up to him and says "frick yo mamma", it is meaningless, he will just think "whatever dude" and note down this person is unreliable.

here in california, in the surburbs b***h is just another swear word, a pretty weak one tbh,
but to people from ghetto or lower classes its a something that will start a fight 90% of the time

Rooney is the proof that a chav can turn into a level-headed high class person if he has money. I guess having resources is really important. I wonder how those monks sho beg for food do it.

    Westerners are weaklings

You tolerate daily humiliation, abuse, and disrespect then call it “civility”

You let people insult you, shame your women, and degrade your God

In Asia, the Middle East, and the Hood we NEVER let people get away with that

Ignoring disrespect just invites more of it

    You’ve gone soft

Over 100 years ago you’d shoot each other for respect too

I'm a Westerner myself and I 100% admit you are right, unfortunately. Not every single Westerner is a soft b***h but a high enough proportion are that they are in control. For now. It won't last and Westerners will toughen up again.

You both are moronic. What made the west great was you could keep a cool head and think on practical terms without reacting like moron filled with rage at the slightest provocation.
