What this anon said. But, I'll humor you. Basically any laptop with a AMD CPU and a Nvidia dedicated GPU in the $500-1000 price range will do. Avoid HP, ASUS, Apple, basically everything but Lenovo and Dell/Alienware. Those are the only laptop brands that I trust. I spent a year as a repair tech, Lenovo and Dell know how to design laptops to last. Its the little things that matter. Metal screw posts instead of plastic, no plastic clips, removable keyboards/mousepads, proper cooling for the power hungry chips, etc etc. No battery is going to sustain a maximum load for more than 2-3 hours, no matter the manufacturer.

None of those are hard to install on a MacBook with simple tools.

My L14 Gen2 is a 6 core amd laptop gets me about 8 hours. Really all I need, if going far out of my way will just bring my external battery to charge it
