they work pretty good for flat land with no stumps or hills. the cheap one you set four stakes to define the mowing area so it doesn't roomba, the better ones have gps and can be programmed to an area you haven't even walked yet.

Lawns are globohetero and shouldn't exist, but since they do, these are a good way to save time that can be spent elsewhere.

nope. the best thing would be a zero turn electric lawnmower that is remote controlled, with limited automation capabilities. and those already exist. and having automation for those huge ride on mower is asking for trouble

also, those electric mower batteries, i had one before, they lose 50% capacity in like 2 years, and the battery is like half the mower cost, it's a rip off

I have 4 acres and these things wont cut more than 1/4 square acre following a damn buried guide line. They suck. They aren’t smart or anything. They can’t cut an acre, go back, recharge and cut another different acre. Nope, just cut one little quarter acre over and over.

      >I have 4 acres
you should be growing hay, not grass

      This
If you don't want to mow your lawn so much then either hire those landscape crews that block the street to do it, get synthetic turf, or move into an apartment/condo where the property owners pay for landscaping

  16. 2 years ago

    >Creates a bunch of noise pollution in the name of maintaining a weed
Nah, you can frick off with your lawn mowers and your entire lawn too.

  17. 2 years ago

Nope, mow your own lawn or pay someone to do it. This will only encourage companies to be like John Deere, making part swaps, or repair impossible without paying them a cut.

      >Lawns are the problem. Why aren't you growing food on that land?
Because I live in a nice neighborhood with an HOA and covenants like a white man.

Why are white men such cucks? Serious question.

          Anonymous

because if you view your home’s equity as an investment, then you want to protect it and prevent your neighbors from renting their property to brown people who will try to raise goats and chickens, and build a car junk yard, and lower everyone’s property value.

            No you low IQ mongoloid
Homesteading is done where nobody lives. You carve out your homestead from god’s wilderness.
Brown people rent a property in a neighborhood in town and run it i to the grown with livestock, junk cars, and “gardens” consisting of peppers, tomatoes, and watermelons.
Nice try though shit for brains.

Mexicans are actually being productive with their land and you wonder why you're being replaced?

            Anonymous

sad innit? Suburb cucks don't even know what it's like to have the right to do things on their property, like even shooting.

            Anonymous

When I was in my early 20s, I had a friend who lived in a trailer on 10 acres and we used to go shooting and riding ATVs. He had all manner of junk and animals on his property. He eventually died from liver disease in his 30s. It was a nice experience at the time.

But I chose a career and a family and to be a part of a community. Most of my neighbors have guns and a freeze dried food stockpile in our pantries. We are ready for civil unrest.

And our gated community of like minded individuals is much stronger together than you are out in your “homestead” if you even have one.
