Is there a Bypass Paywall add-on that still works?

I used to use this (https://github.com/iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome) but over the past year, it pretty much stopped working completely. Is there any out there that still work?

All you have to do is not use garbage websites.

No, NEET. This does not solve the problem. Most people are not willing to isolate themself from the world like you do just because online services are "garbage". Tools like BP addon exist for a reason.

          Unlike me as a zoomer

gen z doesn't know how to use an adblocker, they just install it think its alien technology.

          ublock is an ad blocker
          that is a pop-over/pop-under blocker

            >ublock is an ad blocker
ublock is not just an ad blocker, it can also function as a popup/script/request blocker. This is literally in the wiki
            >uBlock Origin (uBO) is not an "ad blocker", it is a wide-spectrum blocker, which happens to be able to function as a mere "ad blocker".
that said I still fail to see the use case of this popup blocker since uBO already blocks popups by default

Do you live under a rock? Perhaps you don't do any sort of academic work or anything other than browsing imageboards (NEET loser perhaps)?

        >Perhaps you don't do any sort of academic work
None of the bypass paywalls plugins work for academic magazines/articles; Sci-Hub , your institution subscriptions, and emailing the authors asking for a copy or a preprint is what you do if you do academic work, even if by work you mean writing bullshit undergrad papers
So I guess by academic work you mean reading bullshit mainstream clickbait news

The most primitive way is to use "developer tools" (it's part of/)in your browser to delete the blurring or popup elements blocking your view of news articles or whatever. Uncheck the boxes that say overflow hidden to reenable the scrollbar. It takes some practice, but after you do it enough times you'll be able to go to any site and remove any blocking/locking bullshit, including the things that ask if you agree to the TOS/using site cookies. Obviously you won't get around immediate login walls like on x, but it works on tiktok, I never login to that thing and I don't need to use a thirdparty addon that google/apple will inevitably break.
