Is there any demand for philosophy?

I know for sure, without a doubt, that the philosophy book I am presently writing is revolutionary, which can cause a Copernican Revolution that surpasses Hume and Kant's contributions. That it will become even more influential than Nietzsche and Spinoza. I don't say this lightly either.

However, I am not sure if there is any demand for such spectacular philosophical works. I had issue finding a query agent before for fiction because most kept asking for inclusive diversity and LGBTQ+ themes. Am I better off just self-publishing my groundbreaking philosophy?

I don't want my ideas stolen. I've already had my ideas stolen by two other published writers, one of which has a fan following on here.

Marry someone connected. Then publish your philosophy.

Yeah just self-publish. Nobody will take it seriously and it will be forgotten, like it should be. If you are ACTUALLY capable of writing very good philosophy, it will be published by academic presses, not fricking vanity presses. If you can't even make it in, not even fake it in, I do not think you know enough, or are original and genius enough. Prove me wrong by showing me your philosophy.

I have a friend who got a MS in philosophy and has a strong background in the Western and Indian traditions. He will help edit and refine it. He has said my philosophy is unique and good.
I will not share my ideas because I fear them being stolen.

A masters' student means nothing, especially if it's not from a top world master's program. Need accomplished PhD friends to tell you it's good. Again like I said, my advice if you're actually capable, is to publish academically, not via vanity presses. The editors will reject your work if it's bunk so be prepared. I would offer help but I can't if you're preventing involvement from anons by your policy of silence. good luck you'll need it.

        >I will not share my ideas because I fear them being stolen
If they are good enough, people will line up to pay to make profit off of them
        nobody will steal your ideas.
Also, claiming to be a philosopher and afraid of your ideas being stolen
        You sound like a poser

There was never a "demand" for philosophy. The philosopher has always been an outlier read only by other outliers. There's no money or fame in philosophy and there never was / will be.

bump, OP post a minor excerpt your ideas. I can't think of a single time when philosophical ideas were stolen for sake of fame/credit, since philosophical ideas aren't discoveries and philosophers always defer to predecessors if they're found to have been historically earlier when saying the same ideas as oneself. If you see someone "steal" your ideas later, use the archived post of this thread on warosu to prove chronological priority to your thief. You genuinely have nothing to fear.

Philosophers are never recognized in their own time and generally live destitute lives, and in today’s academia you will get no academic recognition because that would subvert the profit incentive, i.e. you must be a Philosophy phd with $250k in debt to get recognition in the academy so they can persuade other prospective philosophers of the need for indebtness to achieve self actualization. Your voice will not even be a splash in the ocean of discourse.

People are inventing hot watter to get publicity. Fame and money infused philosophy can only bring ideological standoffs.

I heard this from a very wise man who was not at all a pseud.
He remembers starting with the Greeks and is, there four an expert in floss fee. Except why anyone would pay a fee for dental floss. After all he can get it for, free by telling his mommy that he has run out and then she, buys him more the next time she goes shopping. He wonders why other people don't have mommies that, buy them every thing they need and then leave them, alone for days at a time which if you, think about it is for his own good. A small price to pay to get, floss for free without a fee.
