Obviously not. It's a fricking pop science book that people buy at airports. Are you really so moronic that you could not figure out for yourself that this is trash?
Why did this book become so popular? Did it say something new that other libs haven't already said or was it just published at the right time to ride some sort of wave?
Somehow a lot of powerful people were saying they were reading it. Maybe it was a WEF scam to demoralize people since the message of the book ends up being a way to subtly deconstruct faith in different civilizational foundations.
>Somehow a lot of powerful people were saying they were reading it.
Once again it was written by an Israeli Joo, of course power people were saying they were reading it, because a lot of them are in high positions.
I read it years ago when it first came out. I reasonably enjoyed it, and learned some things about our history, although qi didn't care to check his sources. But because no crazy claims were made I didn't feel the need to. The book goes to shit towards the end when he starts to inject his own morals, and opinions on humanity if I remember correctly, some antiracism, feminist and ecologist bullcrap you can expect from a university academic. I might have made that shit up but this is how I remember it.
It's mediocre. At least it's mediocre to a point that it stays informative for the most part, as pointed out. His follow-up book (picrel) is straight up unreadable garbage. There is no AP History to be regurgitating anymore, so his basic b***h opinions fill the whole book. I ended up snorring after the first ten pages or so and threw it in the trash.
When I was very young I read Sapiens and was impressed with it, although the transhumanist shit in the end was creepy. So I bought the followup and it was unreadable.
I read it a long time ago but from what I remember it starts off as a fairly interesting history of the evolution of humanity but then abruptly turns into a preachy "can't we all just get along?" midwit social commentary. Wouldn't recommend.
No it ISN'T. Judaism correctly rejects evolution, heliocentrism, and sodomy. The UN probably only opposes air travel because even the niggest gorilla would look down and ask why come there ain't no curvature

WEF-core, my favourite genre.

Frick no
A lot of actual historians and archeologists shit on it all the time for a reason.
I agree but anyone in particular?
Really? Where you read their commentaries?

Once I scored quints twice in a row on different boards and didn't get a single (You) to show for it.

Greek history is millions of years old and evolution is a hoax by British agents
the Bible is a druidic record of the inerrant word of God
nobody has made any arguments against it so it's good
