I feel like this isn't the norm - all my friends I graduated with got decent jobs pretty easily.
I feel like there has to be some caveat to their stories or at least exaggeration, they are Redditors after all. I was impacted by a layoff a couple years ago and pretty much everyone in my network landed a job in a few months or so. I know it's anecdotal but I've just never met anyone in my life that struggled for years trying to find work.
It took less than 15 minutes for redditors to figure out this was obviously fake, and either rage bait or astroturfing from the company selling this garbage.

I wouldn't mind that for 3 month stays (digital nomad), as long as I have a safe and the amenities of the building are good enough (I've seen similar setups in Singapore, the rest of the building more than makes up for the micro apartments).
A lot of rental housing in or near colleges already splits multi-bed apartments up between students. These just let you do the same thing with bedrooms. It's a great idea.

You can buy a cheap used prius, they're made by Toyota to last with cheap maintenance. It's a hatchback and you can fold the seats down, plop a bed,/sleeping bag and live in it. It's a hybrid car, so acts as a generator on wheels. The engine turns on twice every hour to charge the battery if it runs low. You can leave the ac/heater on all night and use up only a gallon of gas a night.
