I use GNU+Linux mainly but I have a Windows 11 install that I use occasionally for some games. It sucks, it lacks polish and performance is bad. Everything takes more time, the start menu is very slow, booting is slow, opening programs takes more time, etc.
This is on a 9900K, 32GB, Nvme.
It also has a lot of ads, and it's the pro version: I got prompted three times to buy a Microsoft 365 subscription, had to got to a hidden menu afterwards to disable the prompts. Came pre-installed with gigabytes of ads such as tiktok, Netflix and so on that I had to manually remove.
The DE is unpolished and inconsistent, looks amateur. A lot of different designs mixed everywhere. They still have not fixed the issues with handling fullscreen and borderless: breaking your desktop or experiencing bugs when trying to switch windows (they have several different APIs to handle this, all work differently, they haven't bothered to integrate them).
If you would try to use this for work it has many more problems: lack of adequate package management, bad compatibility with unix, etc.

Not my experience. Installed Pro 11, no nagging, no adware.

Also no my experience, everything is as near instant as it can be.

It's literally more consistent than 10. Sure all the stuff is still there under it, but what you do interact with is more consistent.

11 is Microsoft trying its damnedest to emulate iOS feel and failing. It's much slower than 10, the UI is atrocious, and adware/bloatware carried over from 10 is somehow even more annoying. No amount of shilling is going to change that.
Only complaint I have is that the taskbar sucks still, outside that just feels like all the menus got an andriod makeover.

KEK, i haven't used windows in 15 years. how gullible do you have to be to still install that fricking spyware garbage?
Some of us has work to do

moron esl can't speak english
Its worse. The start menu somehow managed to be even more predatory than Windows 10 ever was.
Well, this thing came out of nowhere. You use windows 11 one day the next something's installed on it.
Not present on my machine.
Next you are going to tell me you are running Home version and left all the shitware as it was.
Dragging files over an icon in the taskbar in Windows 11 won't unminimize that window anymore.
didnt u watch jayz video???? its v bad
the overweight clickbait fauxtech youtuber said its bad hey... very reliable and trustworthy source.

No my experience. Probably user error.

>reddit spacing
Do you even know why something is reddit spacing? Hint its not because something is spaced to be readable.
>white space between greentext lines
>readable

But, please:
do tell me, just how this is somehow, in any way easier to read.

You just don't notice the flaws because you are used to them and/or have a lower bar.
It's worse and they removed useful features for no reason.
is Windows worse than Windows? Yes
