Its overpriced shit, but it looks nice and is of decent quality.
I hope it does. It's such a stupid fricking product that it NEEDS to get shunted into oblivion as a reminder to morons to never make such a fricking moronic product again. It's literally an app that connects to their servers and that's it. No AI processing is done on the device. Nothing. At least Humane tried to do *some* processing on the device but this shit is just pure fricking scam. That company needs to get nuked.
>hunk of cheap plastic >nice and decent quality
Their designs are actually really nice. Trouble is it's almost always toys for hipster wannabes with more money than sense or talent.
Teenage Engineering had nothing to do with this product other than their designers contracted to do the physical product design and some UI work. In no ways does the failure of this product impact the bottom line of TE, unless there is some liars (you) on the internet who think that they were the mastermind behind this hunk of junk.
basically >BRO WHAT IF WE MADE THE IPHONE OF AI BLOCKCHAINS
its a stupid $200 not-android phone running a proprietary app
that sends voice recordings to an AI that converts it to text
to do a glorified google search and then read out the answer for you
so it's an AI powered listening device where they sell every conversation you have to the highest bidder, but they forgot to add the gimmick to makes morons think "hey this adds just enough convenience to my life that it's worth sacrificing my piracy for"
Every unheard-of-out-of-the-blue startups making AI devices = grifters and scammers.
The Humane Ai (even the reason why they intentionally calls it Ai with a lower case i is proof of grifting and scamming to me) pin, that circular beer pong AI device and now this rabbit device are meant only to scrape off the foam from the top.
I wouldn’t personally buy any AI device unless its from an already established company such as Apple, Google, OpenAI, etc.
The weird thing to me is this is a device designed (physical appearance) by Teenage-Engineering. Because they have a nice footing in electronic music making devices like the Op-1 which if they’d focused putting AI into it, would launch them ahead of their rivals such as Native Instruments or even Image-Line.

There is no point in a device like this, it's just a worse phone. Maybe if they could make some dedicated AI chip that could run a ~7b model locally with good battery life, that would be cool and useful outdoors.
>start out in crypto >doesn't get rich >NFTs and metaverse takes off >jump on the bandwagon >doesn't take off >abandon everything and tell its userbase to deal with it >jump on AI bandwagon >ad infinitum
If it was just an app, nobody would give a shit and everyone would scoff at any pricing or subscription fees. With a device, it gets attention. People like shit (try an deny that while looking at all those waifu dolls around your computer.) A device you hold in your hand is much more special than tapping on an icon.
And they're poised for a nice payout when one of the big companies buys them to turn into an app.
>everyone would scoff at any pricing or subscription fees >what is chatgpt, copilot, claude, devin... All very popular subscription services that do exactly what this does.
People who are young enough to not have a fully developed brain or real world experience but are old enough to have a job are possibly the most lucrative market on the planet.
HAHAHAHA

thats what I call EA engineering
this was built with zoomers in mind, and even those dumbshits didn't want it. How bad can it be?
>Kills your multi-million dollar startup
Nothing personel, kid
Has anyone hyped up the retail product?
I feel like everyone has been shitting on it.
>the final boss in tech is a black man
But enough about mental outlaw
Even in the tech industry, blacks account for the majority of murders.
He dindu nuffin. Only people that bought NFTs thought this shit won't be a scam.
>zoomers in charge of design and engineering
I frick with that! Shit's bussin! No cap, fr fr.

deadass, on god

>fortnite reference (fortnite is dead)
boomer "humour" is beyond embarrassing
well, if you jailbreak it, although even then it's still not the best experience.
I thought that he was angrily shaking it after the connection was lost, but it's actually how you control the thing, kek.
>minecraft
how can you even play on this piece of shit
>gay flag seconds within opening discord
I've just looked at their website and saw many buzzwords and didn't understand any of it
can someone just tell me what this moron shit is?

but ChatGPT already has this feature why do they need a dedicated device for it
Nobody knows

Why are people surprised? There was 0 chance that his wasn't just android running their large action model thing.
>Why are people surprised?
Because they said that it wasn't.
People are moronic.

good morning sir
It's the dotcom bubble all over again. People are making "AI" product startups and hoping some dumbfrick investor throws them $10million.
>openAI has service outage
>r1 suddenly stops working
I genuinely wonder how many startups would go under if OpenAI removed their API.
