Gentoo's philosophy is "Have fun" and while that's a good thing, you all morons are wasting time, effort, power and everyone's time.
There is no reason to use this shit, and there are distros that
      - let you compile packages yourself
      - let you build them with your own custom useflags
      - let you tweak / change / build your own kernel
      - let you work efficiently without the absolutelly moronic approach of compiling everything.
People that use it are nothing more that either children who like their computer going brrrr and making silly noises or neets that know enough about tech and are so devoted to the stallman philosophies that thet are fine with accepting their complete rejection of any sensible approach to computing.

Sorry IQfyentelmen, while you might know your shit, you are all useless

I mostly agree, except that Gentoo has nothing to do with "Stallman philosophies". In fact, he explicitly said he has a low opinion of it since it distributes nonfree software in its official repositories.

Yeah but arguably Voidlinux is more of a 'Toy' OS than Gentoo.

I got filtered by eselect profile list when trying to install this garbage. I admit it stopped me from having lewd thoughts and cooming in the meanwhile.

            eselect profile list

Portage is ridiculously overcomplicated, you don't need 90% of its features.
Besides, most of the actually useful features aren't even that essential.

There are some people that do. Read the Gentoo Forums

I don't get the Gentoo hate. It doesn't take long on a new processor and the only complicated things is just to learn Emerge. If any of you think Gentoo is 'redudant' or 'unnecessary' you are a Stallinist Systemd-Tard.

            Anonymous

Considering the games I want to play. The anti cheat is the wiener block. VM/VFIO still leads to a anti cheat problem. Because some of the anti-cheats out there will ban a VM if it's detected. I don't want to lose my steam account with $2,000-$3,000 worth of games.
