Before I went back to school for CS, I was an auto mechanic. I quit because I made more money delivering pizzas than doing brakes, clutches, water pumps…you know, stuff that prevents metal shitboxes from killing other people. Also, thousands spent on quality tools. Really makes you think.

I don't understand why so many people have difficulties getting a job. I was able to get one easily by having my dad set me up with a job at the company he works at. In fact, most young people in my department got their job in a similar way.
