Didn't know all of those were developed by GNOME Project like in OP every single one was developed by KDE.

Some of KDE apps are really good, but plasma is shit. Too bad it's impossible to install most of these apps without bringing 80% of whole kde pajeetware into the system, but it's great that krita has appimage packages that weight roughly 80 Mb.

You had to drag that picture into the browser yourself because you have no thumbnails in your filepicker.

Is that shit worth anything? Genuinely curious, because while I hate this "muh carbon footprint" shit, I can give it a pass if it means less bloated software.

Okular and KOReader have my respects, Kate is fine as a Notepad++ replacement with Vim keybinds and have heard that KDEnlive is respectable. Everything else is meh.

I decrypt my drive, my machine launches conky and expressVPN silently

I remote onto my work machine via Remmina.

I launch MS Teams on cinnamon and join my morning team meeting

I enjoy the crisp rich sound of Pipewire

I launch Skype and message some friends

I check on some discord servers

    Back to work

I log into my Citrix front end and launch some applications running on Windows Appservers.

I have windows only applications working on my cinnamon desktop via Citrix Workspace...

I connect up to my other VPN and remote directly onto some other work machines.

I take lunch, dick about on Brave Browser for a little while...then I launch steam.

I play some Apex Legends for a while, on my 3080 with 200fps+ on proton, it runs like native.

I open vscode and write some scripts for the rest of the day.

    I have no gpu issues

I have everything running on 185hz in 3k, no stuttering.

    Idle RAM usage is 3GB

All the applications above work flawlessly on cinnamon

    No snaps

Just flatpacks if I need them

    There are no ads

There are no nagging updates to apply

    Speaking of which

    sudo apt update

    sudo apt upgrade -y

My kernel updates while I work, I barely even notice

    sudo shutdown now

    I smile

This is what it feels like to chew five gum
