I'm legitimately serious, GTA V provides a very reliable baseline that can be used to compare the real world performance of CPUs because it doesn't matter what GPU you have, a pentium 4 + RTX 4090 is going to run like shit in GTA V.
Not really. GTA V doesn't stress the CPU enough nor benefits from that many more cores. It being a game makes it extra worthless for CPU benchmark, since other bits have too much influence. Plus here it's worthless given different architectures.

Not really. Geekbench translates to other tasks pretty well and you generally can compare the numbers across the systems. The only somewhat misleading thing about it when it comes to mobile chips is that it finishes too fast before throttling starts.
90% of the score has nothing to do with RAW CPU performance. Just hardware acceleration.

Why would Apple implement SME when they didn't even do SVE, and they have their own in-house proprietary AMX?
Apple do it, twitter account @never_released show it, from Xcode to new iPad binaries support for SME.
From technical point of view, SME is just set instruction over hardware compute like AMX inside but SME outside.
That's now how SME works. It builds on SVE inside the cores. AMX is a separate processor outside the ARM cores, but still inside the SoC just like the GPU.
For SME to be supported Apple would have to jump to ARMv9.x-A which mandates SVE2 as well. M3 is ARMv8.6-A. I would be surprised if they did it.

Half the time on windows alt-f4 or ctrl-alt-del doesn't work or you can't get out of your frozen game to actually use the task manager. Force quit on mac OS works perfectly, its like it puts a fricking bullet right in the head of whatever program is giving you problems.

It's useful artists, better single core performance enables them to use bigger brushes 1000px+ to blend or paint, transforming/resizing and filters.
A 1500px brush will bring a top of the line PC to it's knees, because you can't really throw more cores at the issue.
