It's the only distro that has btrfs snapshotting setup by default so that you can roll back your system. This is non-trivial on other distros because suse has made changes to the location of root files so certain things you wouldn't want rolled back, don't

        And?

          Anonymous

ok yeah but you're using an immutable root system, that comes with its own quirks. Some leddit comments here on rollback/snapshot support with a normal read/write fs, aka btrfs:

        >snapshotting by default
        Why would you want this?
Assuming you have <1TB of space like a sane person, why would you want your system to self-destruct?

Read only snapshots don't take up that much space if there's not that much of a different and you can configure snapper to clean up.

If bandwith is such a problem use Fedora instead.

          Anonymous

Isn't. I used TW for some time and was fine for a rr distro, but Is not for me. Leap just works and I'm ok with this.

But if someday I need to use a rolling release distro, TW will be the first option.
