yea i don't need an ereader - i already have one for reading my epubs and mobis.
i need a tablet - maybe like the one in the pic i posted? - for reading pdfs.
is $70 usd for a fire hd 10 ok?
An e-ink e-reader is better because it feels more "organic" (like reading a real book), is easier on your eyes, and it battery lasts much longer than a regular tablet.
to all you gays criticing kindles , have you ever looked at one , used one ? Eyes dont hurt when reading it for hours since i can adjust font size . No glare so i can read outisde, no need to waste thousands per year since i can pirate books from zlib , can look up words and save sentences to put on to anki since im using it to learn french. And you can buy a used one for 50 bucks . How can you not like it ?

how do you read hundreds of books and still write with the grammar of an ESL braindead Black person?
Even low end tabby battery is not that great of a difference from current gen eink readers if you leave your tabby on airplane mode. The eink readers drain in days or in hours if you have wifi on. Eye pain is a myth and primarily caused by depressing lifestyle choice. The money would be better spent on a tablet with higher battery life than Amazon's junk built to be traded in annually for the data harvest.
Tablet batteries have similar charge lifespan under the same uses and longer overall lifespan than the piece of shit batteries they put in eink devices. Dim the screen and use high contrast mode and proper fonts and display usage will be miniscule and "eye strain" about as bad as reading anything irl. Models after gen 2 kindle eink consume battery life regardless of what the user thinks he or shes can do about it.
What the frick is going on? Are all the ESLs here today? He already owns a fricking e-reader and is asking if that tablet is a good option for reading PDFs. Holy frick the reading comprehension on IQfy of all places is embarrassing.
Nothing wrong with advocating that OP gets rid of the piece of trash and gets a real tablet.

Personally I’d convert .pdfs to .epubs when I can, since atleast with my ebook that’s the format that lets you adjust font size. As someone who only read pdfs at the start it’s much more comfortable
I don't know what is best honestly, I just use my iPad or my phone. If I'm reading for a decent amount of time, I wear anti-reflective glasses, with 0x lens. I don't need prescription, the AR coating just helps me feel better about my eyes' health and my brains' melatonin production.
>ereader
>pdf
That would be a tablet.

*eye pain from screens is a myth
Bro... My Fire kindle 10 lasts for a week or two if I just use it for reading.

Not bad. 10" is serviceable and it is cheap. Maybe add a matte screen protector if you find it useful in relieving eye strain.
