Some pajeet company was doing a t-shirt giveaway or something like that, but to get the t-shirt you had to make a commit on github. So github got flooded by braindead pajeets who just wanted a t-shirt or whatever.

It was. There's a specific youtube course who demonstrated how to open a PR on Github using the ExpressJS github page and it opened the floodgates.

We should be making videos like that and writing helpful medium articles with 50 emojis. Perhaps mention that the rust team will accept your PR if you say something nice about gays or trannies.

at least Indians are making racism come back into fashion among upper middle class White IT professionals who bought themselves a house in a 99% White/Asian suburb so that contact with actual Blacks doesn't get into the way of their BLM virtue signaling.
I bet it's some Indian content creator giving advise on how to get a job in IT by making dogshit contributions to github projects.
I've seen this shit happen with the most disgusting combo ever; Quora, Amazon affiliates and chatgpt. people generate responses to Quora and paste an amazon aff link, hoping to make some money.
