> why are Americans so evil?
Yep..look a those malnourished South Koreans and those happy North Koreans right now. Evil Muricans….amirite?
This doesn't justify war crimes either way
At the end of the day civilians are not millitary targets, you tell me what use it was to literally plow tanks through wooden houses, bomb the shit out of everything to destroy their culture, and enforce martial law in South Korea when people spoke up against Syngman Rhee. I'm not defending the north by any means and i'm not a communist but it would disingenous to say the least to ignore the war crimes in Korea. I'm sure the north did some as well but they didn't have a massive coalition. I mean MacArthur had suggested nuking the Yalu River so he was genocidal anyway. You really think he didn't want them dead?
> I mean MacArthur had suggested nuking the Yalu River so he was genocidal anyway. You really think he didn't want them dead?
Too bad he didn’t do that. Should have dropped nukes on both North Korea and Chinkland
>saying civilians shouldn't be used for target practice somehow implies i'm a communist

you're a useful fool at best. there is no place for humanitarianism during war, your kind just serves to weaken your own nation's standing while condemning whole nations to decades of oppressive regimes. you're no better than neonazis screaming "muh dresden". even the rhetoric you use is manipulative. they didn't use civilians for "target practice," they wanted to destroy the cities to destroy their capacity to wage war while simultaneously reminding their leaders of the price of said war so that they'd sue for peace quicker. and if they were more effective at it and willing to go further like macarthur, then maybe people in north korea wouldn't be starving nowadays.

>there is no place for humanitarianism during war
There are laws regarding war dumb homosexual. >you're no better than neonazis screaming "muh dresden"
You're literally comparing a standard civil war to a genocidal fascist empire killing and destroying everything in its path? >they wanted to destroy the cities to destroy their capacity to wage war
Which is a war crime. You're argument boils down to "might makes right" because hey, war is war. EVERYTHING is permitted. >and if they were more effective at it and willing to go further like macarthur, then maybe people in north korea wouldn't be starving nowadays
Going further would only invite more violence and bloodshed (mostly Koreans). The USSR and China would never in a million years allow the US to take over all of Korea and flood it with Nuclear War heads. Also, North Korea's economic development was at the same level as South Korea up until the 1980s. It was the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the Iraqi-style UN sanctions that turned North Korea from a another third world shithole to a Hunger Games-style hell. And even then, it's conditions are significantly exaggerated. Average North Koreans are no different from average Cubans.

The UN. My issue is that you take the position that's its okay to commit war crimes, because "it's war".

Thanks for humanists like you, instead of glassing dictatorial shitholes we have to starve them to death.
Look what happend to Europe becoming dependent on Russian gas, doing bussines with dictator subhumans, now they suffer, because the war in Ukraine.
They have to suck russian wiener for gas, selling their soul and their values to autocratic regimes who bring all types of oppression.

So you're in favor of mass genocide of every country run by a dictatorship that isn't funded by your government?

Im in favour of every country under oppresive regimes getting glassed no matter if my goverment funds it or not.
>Implying justification is required
The only war crime was not glassing the north half of the country. To this day they live like luddites in the stone age - it could easily be argued that simply allowing North Korea to exist doomed thousands of people to a lifetime of the worst standards of modern living outside of Africa.
Also, 'war crimes' implies that the Norks were capable of fighting a war in the first place. They folded up in three days - it was the Chinese that ensured their existance and continued suffering. You should take it up with them.
>and a lot of their modern day shittiness simply comes from the fact that they chose the losing side of the cold war and now they're being sanctioned by the sole world superpower, not just the fact they are commies
Other nations don't have an obligation to trade with North Korea if they don't want to
>Other nations don't have an obligation to trade with North Korea if they don't want to
Lol but they can't because of UN sanctions. You're pretending it's a free market and everyone can make a decision on whether or not to trade with North Korea.
>the North and South only diverged economically in 1970-1980
That's exactly what happened throughout the entirety of Western/NATO and Eastern/Warsaw blocs, it's just command economy unable to compete with free markets
They're being sanctioned because they're a communist hellhole state with no regard for human life. If they were not a communist hellhole state, they wouldn't be getting sanctioned.
Way to blame the proper authorities for doing what proper authorities are supposed to do. How else do you expect the world to burn out the disease if they're not allowed to kill communists?
>invade South Korea
>what y-you're not supposed to fight back! that's imperialist!

Can you elaborate?
Woe to the Vanquished
Communism is when trannies and Black folk.
When they do what?
> I mean MacArthur had suggested nuking the Yalu River so he was genocidal anyway. You really think he didn't want them dead?
Too bad he didn’t do that. Should have dropped nukes on both North Korea and Chinkland
And Truman fired MacArthur.

We should have nuked them just like Japan, China too.

>why they've remained independent and not westernised or experienced mass-immigration
Wow. So based. Why don't you live there?
Because I'm not North Korean.
N. Korea isn't independent at all. The Kims are entirely reliant on China to prop up their regime.
Because they never suffer consequences for it.
