It's the classic "I have some interesting ideas I want to write out so I'm going to create a "story" so that I can put them all down" book.
He's an interesting, entertaining writer, but there is something about this style that I don't like.
Just write some essays or be a columnist dude.
We have been conveying idea through story since antiquity and I can see no reason to stop, certainly not because you can not stop tugging on your dick.

Underneath the brittle human visages lies a tender soul, peering into it is risky business, but wear it on your sleeve and you will end up happy or in an institution, sometimes both.
This movie, Infinite Jest, does it teach? Or addict? Where do we draw the line?
Living death is like walking when dead, all libidinals are short-circuited by the desire machine, until it reaches the accelerated self-destruction that is it's inversion from it's life pursuing origins. But is that teaching, is it suicide, or is it the selection at the end of the term?
