that definitely looks like someone who turned into a troony in the future of whenever that picture was taken. either way, he looks like a total homosexual and looks like he stores tons of bbc porn on his laptop.

fedora kinoite/silverblue gives similar stability/immutability that nixos does without the autistic functional programming needed to install or configure anything
You treat the OS as a docker container. It's built in layers just like a container, even can make it repeatable with yaml files. But on ostree it takes longer, so they recommend you use as few layers as needed, then you use toolbox or distrobox or flatpak and install all the non-system userland applications.
using it this way is honestly the final redpill of linux distros. if you are a distrohopper and can't settle on anything this will be your wet dream

They said that about Gentoo and NixOS though

the whole advantage of silverblue is that you're meant to leverage flatpaks/distrobox to keep your system distro-agnostic. my system pretty much has distrobox and nvidia drivers natively installed. everything else comes from flatpaks/distroboxes (you don't even really need to use flatpaks if you're anal about them). for example, i have my gaming software installed on an arch distrobox, and for all intents and purposes, my games/steam runs on arch. if i wanted it to run on debian tomorrow, i can just make a debian container and install that stuff there without nuking my entire system to change distros

I mean, you can do exactly the same with nixos if you want - have base install managed with nixos and use distrobox for things that are inconvenient with nix (there are also nix-specific things to manage flatoaks and thin vans as a different option).

does exporting bins from distroboxes work well with nixos? considering it strictly mandates and versions your bins for its packaging process

NixOS is more redpilling than Gentoo, don't put them on the same level.

declarative package managers should be a game changer for the cloud. it's sad what's happening to nixos despite so much promise.

it's already known that nix is troony software made by a troony
a dozen or so maintainers left because nix is gigabased and against troony CoC spamming that's happening in current FOSS

how so?
t. only used nixos

Go shill Fedora somewhere else gay.
Honestly, anon that looks pretty bad. The logo is off center, and looks like it was slapped together in mspaint. Let me help.
