Wait a second. Is this bait? I hope this is bait. Is this why everyone hates linux users? I'm not even allowed to use a DE that LOOKS like Windows now? Holy moly the moronic unnecessary elitism.
YOU HEAR THAT GUYS?! MAKE SURE YOURE LINUX DE DOESN'T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE WINDOWS OR THE FAT ATHEIST NECKBEARD ARCH Black folk WILL CALL YOU A CASUAL!
I bow to thee non-user-friendly DEsama. I will now delete my cinnamon DE because I'm able to find what I'm looking for without having to look it up on the internet for 20 minutes.

That's cinnamon you gentoo and tiling wm using tinkertroony
You're using a systemd only distro based on ubuntu with a DE, of course you're attracting elitists.
I don't necessarily mind systemd, but locking the user into an init system, especially one that is monolithic and expansionist isn't good.
>shit that doesn't matter to the end user >transwoman projecting >shit that doesn't matter to the end user >lightweight and efficient
yes
>Shit that doesn't matter to the end user
Keeping everything at a level where the end user can maintain some vague understanding and control matters to the end user, especially when systemd and blobs were utilized in the most recent attempted backdooring of Linux.
>MOM, LOOK! A TASKBAR! TASKBAR MEANS WINDOWS!
Chesterton's Fence is a simple rule of thumb that suggests you should never destroy a fence, change a rule, or alter a tradition if you do not understand why it was created in the first place.
A simple rule that filters people below 110 IQ. Gnome and tiling WM users are the ultimate midwits who think they are special for using something unconventional and convoluted on purpose.
>Debian is extra steps >Ubuntu is Debian without extra steps but with bullshit >LM is Ubuntu without bullshit >LMDE is Debian without extra steps
FTFY >t. LMDE daily driver with terminal-only Debian on homeserver
Had stuttering issues with ubuntu, mint, and xubuntu, switched to manjaro xfce and it works fine. I don't care what distro or even OS I use as long as I can just power on the PC and boot onto an XFCE desktop.

His journey is already over if he wants to have a lightweight and efficient OS that just works.

>systemd

is this bait?
your lightweight and efficient is 100MB at idle. I'm coming from windows so my idea of efficient is anything less than 2GB at idle.

Waiting until 22 arrives so Distrobox is added to the official repos. Then, i can call the Linux problem completely solved and the world will heal.

Vera, Vanessa, or Victoria?
For me, it's Victoria. Intelligent, stylish, and with a wicked sense of humor.
Victoria or Virginia
