You can train yourself to get used to low volumes. And the equal-loudness contour is your best friend. It's not even a secret, people are just ignorant.
my man I've spent 20$ on a new tws earbuds because i thought my older in ear monitors are uncomfortable, only to feel uncomfortable with these new earbuds tws, so i cleaned my ears, stopped listening for a while, and started listening again and I've been listening for a hour, unlike when i had it on full volume, i couldn't Listen for more than 10 minutes
Start with the volume a little than you'd normally listen to after you wake up. Over several days, lower the volume a touch more each morning/whenever you wake up. Eventually you'll get a feel for things. If you listen to loud things for a while, like a movie, a concert, or even loud traffic, you'll have to reset the next day.
>changing equaliser settings so its the lowest possible volume
comfy, though when I would listen to loud music my ears were way more resilient, now they are really sensitive in both a good and bad sense. There are tradeoffs if you are a genetic phenom like me appatently
I have frankly never went about 30% on my volume, I legitimately can't understand how anyone goes much beyond that unless they're just straight up deaf.
i'm constantly adjusting the volume to prevent loudness differences from fricking with my head.. also, i love it when i can still hear the bass / sub-bass at low volume.
I actually found myself being much more calm and perceptive when driving if I listened to classical. BUT I noticed I would 'race' more when Spanish Guitar was played. But god damn. Spanish Guitar.
>in before Black folk claim they can't fel the bass at low volume
feel*
with everything being mastered to such high average levels and high frequencies being boosted, you basically have to

I can't really say it's my thing, I'm just a few years too young to appreciate it.

wait until you try listening to them at high volumes with earplugs in your ear
Music sucks, it's too distracting. I only listen to my screams. We're in hell.
I don't listen to music. I don't talk to people. Sometimes I fear I'll forget how language works.
