Most coders, unless they are two digits IQ consumers, live in a constant state of depression and nihilism, trying their best but unable to perform in a hyper competitive and oversaturated world, knowing that all their struggles and accomplishments are meaningless in the great scheme of things.
Also having "hobbies" and "self-improvement" becomes really old by the time you hit your mid-thirties, and by your forties you'll understand you wasted the best years of your life coping thinking you were going to do all those great things only to soon realize none of your dreams even materialized and there is no escape except the rope.

>I'm a slave to money.
frick off Black person, eat shit and die, have a nice day
if you earn more money, you will end up getting even more. more computers. more tvs. more twistingly confused tears. more. but, what if that actually gets you even more? more health. more sex. more offspring. and even more than that. you need to earn more. get back to work and earn more chuddie and you can spend $100 per minute on sex. more. you need to be earning so much more if you want to buy more.

We just get new hobbies like bird watching
Thats why at 23, im choosing forget about those stupid dreams and constantly live in present. Being present and enjoying time with friends and family. Being present and completely absorbing myself in my hobbies for the pure enjoyment of it and not because i need to "succeed". Being present during the quiet small moments. And (hopefully) find a wife would will have kids to pass on my lineage. "Dreams" are a capitalist psyop trying to tell us to something "revolutionary". In this day and age where individualism and egoism is everywhere, being the guy who feels his calling is being that gas station clerk who always gives you free pack of gum just to be nice, the nice and friendly local bakery owner who makes you feel good after you leave his shop, the host of a small time nerdy board game club who creates memories for his club members. Thise are what are TRUELY revolutionary. We humans weren't meant to change the world. We were made to change the lives of those around us.
> me me me me me

No you are unironically below average and need to accept that, you are a dumb motherfricker.
>by your forties you'll understand you wasted the best years of your life coping thinking you were going to do all those great things
It's a hobby. If you enjoyed doing it, and learned things in the process, it wasn't a waste of time.
If you're such a fricking prick that you need to achieve some major thing to be happy, you have chosen to be miserable by virtue of refusing to check your own ego. Go commit unalive, homosexual.
Yeah.

I wonder what you get out of copy/pasting these garbage threads across so many boards.
Have you considered killing yourself?
it's a demoralization bot
Now that sounds like something fun to program. I love coding again!
If it helps reduce the world population I'm all for it

"Coder" is not a job.
The truth is that you are just another scammer. And you know it deep down.
Your client hired you to make they life easier, and their work more efficient. But you won't.
In fact whatever program you will deliver will end up making them slower, less efficient, and more miserable.
You're depressed and nihilist, because you know for a fact you have never produced anything of value. And never will.
You are a burden for society.
