So are you. Just embrace that fact and live your moments to the fullest. Carpe Diem.
It's over U _ U
I have a windows xp machine
old computers have a charm to them that modern systems lack tbh
Yeah, like exploding PSUs.
I still have a windows vista machine with countless games I had installed in like 2008 with all their saves that I love going back to.
even going back to my pictures folder with like 10k plus images I saved from IQfy when this site used to still post funny shit.
>replace bulk capacitors and fan
>good for another 10 years
Just get a new PSU, moran. It's just leccy, m8. Electricity.
saucenao this for comedy gold
what's so funny
e? i get this as my first result
weird
https://warosu.org/jp/thread/15719097#p15720800
an old thread from 2016, 8 years ago!
>2016 was 8 years ago
but it's weird how my saucenao is different
or am I getting bamboozled?
I can't recall it ever showing IQfy threads in my results
but then I again I mostly use iqdb and yandex
saucenao is only good for pixiv and twitter artists
the source isn't a thread specifically but some mega index the thread was in
the link i used: https://saucenao.com/search.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.4cdn.org%2Fg%2F1712095650496432.gif

I see. I haven't experimented with saucenao and I didn't know how it worked. So it puts similar images in groups or indices. Might be how it relates these images and lets me click on them and find similar ones.
Mine is fourteen years old now. Still mostly does what I want. I kinda want to build a new one but hardware prices are still moronic.
You're just poor anon. It's okay to accept this.
Not really poor but cheap.
just don't buy a fancy gpu because if you want to be a gaymer you'd probably need $1000 just for the GPU depending where you live
hardware is pretty cheap otherwise barely caught up with inflation I think
I'm probably going to drag my 1080ti along with me. I mostly only play factorio these days so faster ram and a large L3 cache is more beneficial than an expensive GPU.
how is factorio for autism? I love stuff like tycoons, euiv, nandgame, anno. Is it something like supply chain management? Is it similar to anno and settlers where your npcs ask for stuff and you need to build a farm, then a mill, then a bakery, etc.? i pirated it a while ago but never got around to playing it
It is as autistic as you want to make it. Your first goal is to launch a rocket. To get that you start out manually doing shit then automate that shit to more and more levels. Lots of supply chain management. As you get further on you can plop down blueprints and have bots assemble everything. The goal after you've launched the rocket is how much science goo can you make a minutes and just keep expanding the factory to achieve that. I've made two main buss bases and two rail block bases. Rail blocks are my preference since they are much more easily expandable in the long run. However main buss designs really help you understand how the game is intended.
Some people have gone even more autistic and made functional CPUs and self expanding bases and a bunch of other shit. That isn't including all the mods out there. Some of which would could be considered DLC level of how much it adds.
Sounds interesting, thanks for the rundown. I like the part about blueprints. Few games let you use blueprinting, scripting, etc. (without you using mods or software like bots) but IMO it should let you do it so that you don't waste time on the boring APM/micromanagement crap which gets tedious after a while. The only other game that comes to mind that I've played is Earth 2150 which let you build custom robots that had different weapons, shields, etc. I've also bookmarked a game that some other anon recommended to me, I think it's about using programming to beat challenges, kinda like leetcode or nandgame: TIS-100

>build a pc 9 years ago
>use a new at the time nzxt AIO
>run it constantly as my media server
how fricked am I? I have an air cooler I'm just too lazy to swap it.
>how fricked am I?
well, it either leaks or it doesn't
and it hasn't leaked yet
NZXT seems to have a good reputation
make sure to back up all of that stuff
Time to build a new pc and put a funny alt OS on the old one for fun!
it's over, ngmi

Your IQ is getting low
Old good new bad anon.
You computer is getting good.
my computer is 13 years old and still works
the only issue i have is half the time when i boot it gets stuck and i get a BIOS screen code, which i've looked up and it corresponds to something something capacitor thing. Not sure how to fix it so i just restart and it usually boots normally afterwarsd anyway.
My family keeps saying its amazing my computer still works as they're used to buying new laptops and such every 3-4 years when their old ones become ""slow"".
>the only issue i have is half the time when i boot it gets stuck and i get a BIOS screen code, which i've looked up and it corresponds to something something capacitor thing. Not sure how to fix it so i just restart and it usually boots normally afterwarsd anyway.
capacitor or battery issue you can fix it easily either way
i keep my old computers too
no reason not to
you can turn one of them into a router if you want
Normies doing that drives me bananas. Give me all your "slow" computers, normies.
Like your mother's pussy anon
