Wisdom teeth eruption is entirely genetic, it has nothing to do with the food that you eat. How could your diet impact the teeth before they've even left the bone? Additionally, if it's about diet, why do Amerindians not have wisdom teeth AT ALL, despite being one of if not the most unhealthy demographics in North America?

Traditional hunter-gatherer populations had higher meat intakes. Cooked meat is harder to chew than processed products from the agriculture of Neolithic societies and their descendants. This explains why dental problems generally go back to sedentary lifestyles and the increase in the proportion of cereals in the diet. Compare the teeth of the Inuit until the beginning of the 20th century with those of European populations, for example. The introduction of soft cereal-based products has caused their hygiene and dental health to decline.

Children who ate more nutritious cuts of meat like liver and heart, as well as more dairy and vegetable consumption. Even brothers where the only difference was diet were found that the boys who ate the more varied diet had better developed jaws. Naturally a diet that permits both bone and muscle development will aid in it.

The only reason so many people have impacted wisdom teeth is because of the much softer diet humans artificially gave themselves on the advent of agriculture. In the primitive state of man the daily chewing of tough meats which required larger jaws, stronger bites and more teeth. After agriculture and consistent hunting and cooking techniques evolution favoured brain and skull size and reduced the jaw size as it was no longer needed

Humans evolved to not need the extra teeth but are still in the process of erasing them entirely. Note how the different ethnic groups have vastly different rates of average age of wisdom teeth eruption, and even missing wisdom teeth.

    >The variations are perhaps most clearly illustrated by prevalence data for North America. It has been estimated that 10-25% of Americans with European ancestry, 11% of African Americans and 40% of Asian Americans are missing at least one wisdom tooth.

Asians being the longest consistent farmers of the soft crop rice mean the highest rate of missing wisdom teeth. Followed by Europeans. Africans who relied on hunting right up to recent years have the least.

I’m lucky in that 3 of my wisdom teeth came through 100% fine, the fourth only came half out but is not impacted or growing sideways or anything. I suspect due to braces slightly expanding the jaw via tooth movement to prevent crowding
