I only had a CD explode once in the drive. It was a traumatic experience

that's the only time it ever happened to me as well
52x drive? i decided to go back to 48x after that, seems there's a good reason those were short-lived. i've looked it up before and 52x in cd terms is literally over 10,000 RPM, insane
in the moment i though my hard drive blew up, i went for the wall switch faster than you can blink
miraculously the cd drive still worked after removing all the shards

Now that the dust has settled, what are your thoughts on computers?
also, while i didn't have that exact machine, it wasn't far off, i was using that same dell quietkey keyboard as that at the time
destroyed my life. when I should have been outside with friends, chasing girls, having adventures I chose instead to press plastic buttons and upload frogs images.

They were awesome until normies got online with smartphones. Smartphones and tablets were absolutely a mistake.
They also screwed interfaces. Every interface needs to be "mobile-compatible" now. Sucks the soul right out.
