Did Kamalism fail to achieve an long term sucess cuz it was a product of its time or the idiology has any future at all? cuz you know, Turkiye it's by every year less and less as Ataturk wishes.

Destroying everything your people built in tge last 800 years is pretty moronic
>drag your moronic people into the modern world
>he le destroyed our heckin trad culture of boy rape and fratricide
Seething roach. Your current president can only wish to be as Chad as Ataturk
Turks and Larpers unironically think that modernizing the language, culture, and laws destroyed Turkey when it turned Turkey into one of the most powerful states in Modern History. Hell, Turkey is the 2nd largest military in NATO.
Still a major fall from grace from what directly preceded it
Yeah being a declining empire with a majority illiterate population. What a shame!
>Turkey into one of the most powerful states in Modern History.
turkey's modern day status wasn't present before 2002
when my grandparents left turkey in 70s, it's gdp per capita was 480usd
Is it thanks to Erdogan that Turkey's economy has grown so much in the last 22 years?
yes even the inflation was much worse before him
and mind you the span of time during that inflation crisis went on for many decades with much greater severity
Impressive. Especially given how much asshurt he has caused in the West and EU, who have tried to trip him up at every turn.
>when my grandparents left turkey in 70s, it's gdp per capita was 480usd
to put that in comparison Afghanistan in 2013 was 650usd
I'm not a roach, I'm an arab and I hate roaches and despise the ottomans, but what ataturk did was dumb as hell, throwing your identity that your people have been working on for the last 800 years just to copy westerns who pretty much did the exact opposite in the last 800 years is moronic and will always fail
Ataturk was most definitely a dönmeh boy rape enthusiast
>Destroying everything your people built in tge last 800 years is pretty moronic
It was already destroyed by that time, Turkey was almost finished.
define success
>the state has been going on for a 100 years
>the society is getting more and more secular every year (every attempt at creating a more conservative society has backfired so far)
>thanks to syrian, afghan and pakistani immigrants (our 'brothers in faith'), nationalism is having a renaissance
>the ruling party had to come to terms with many of the main tenets of kemalism, mainly due to how other approaches failed
Now, surely not everything is alright. We have many problems in our country. Corruption is at an all time high, rule of law is deteriorating, economy has gone to shit in the last seven years. Still, considering the political instability of the region, I would say that we are not doing too bad.
kys moron
there was no common identity in the empire, that's why it fell into a billion pieces
The Ottoman Empire was a bloated corpse kept afloat by Western money. Turkey needed radical change or it would've been completely destroyed after WWI.
He is probably just a moronic paki that has watched too many youtube shorts videos about the caliphate
My great-great-grandfather was forced to work in a french owned coal mine, because the sultan wouldn't bother paying for the construction of his newly built palace. I fricking hate the Ottomans.
It's though being a white man in a land of barbarism
there's too many low iq people in this country unfortunately
bruh
>From an average of 9 lira per U.S. dollar in the late 1960s, the currency came to trade at approximately 1,650,000 lira per U.S. dollar in late 2001
>In December 2003, theGrand National Assembly of Turkeypassed a law that allowed forredenominationby the removal of six zeros from the Turkish lira, and the creation of a new currency. It was introduced on 1 January 2005, replacing the previous Turkish lira (which remained valid in circulation until the end of 2005) at a rate of YTL1 (ISO 4217code "TRY") =TL1,000,000in old lira (ISO 4217 code "TRL"). With the revaluation of the Turkish lira, theRomanian leu(also revalued in July 2005) briefly became the world's least valued currency unit.
Turks did not deserve him, kinda fricked up that the empire who only knew war got an enlightened ruler like Ataturk instead of iranians or arabs
