Look at how Apple controls what websites can exist or not(tumbler porn purge was because of Apple threatning to remove it from their stores). Look at how Master Card/VISA controls the porn sites regulations. Further more, look at Blackrock who control $10-20 trillion dollar in global industry and has voice in almost every major company and controls their political voice. Look at how media consolidation led to a single unified voice lacking any opposition except conservative news network. The whole media is consolidated into becoming a manufactured consent propaganda machine. Look at how big oil controls the entire world's economy.
Its absolutely bad. We must ALWAYS and ALWAYS stay vigilant and never give into temptations of ease of accessibility by sacrificing freedom of choice and competition. Ofcourse we're not saying competition should be forced, but rather ubiquitous usage should never happen.
Apple needs to be broken up. Amazon needs to be broken up. Google needs to be broken up. Facebook needs to be broken up. Microsoft needs to be broken up. VISA/Mastercard needs to be broken up. Big Oil needs to be broken up. And so on.
Tyranny comes when we sacrifice security for convenience.
And bit more relevant is the browser consolidation.
We were in a shitty place when Internet Explorer was the only option. We're now in a shitty place when Google is dictating the terms of censorship/DRM/anti-adblocking mechanism/anti-privacy measures/etc.
It's already happened. > stay vigilant
You mean just watch it happen and do nothing.

stay mad. biden won, wear your mask and get your boosters chud.
The first part of what you wrote is a direct endorsement of centralization. Without a centralized system there would be no hope of getting porn apps off of the iPhone, someone would just make a store that allows it. By centralizing everything under the App Store, Apple has the power to keep the market and their devices clean.
This isn't 1password controlling google or vice versa though, it's just a password manager supporting additional login creds

And silicon valley controls those credentials and where and how you can use them. Corporations talk to each other and negotiate interests: they team up when it suits them and stay out of each other's way when they'd conflict. If they decide that certain apps, OSs, or specific language (identified through semantic analysis) is forbidden, they'll have the power to disenfranchise you from their platforms. With systems like what OP is concerned about, everything becomes their platform. You'd break one policy that you probably aren't even aware of and be banned from everything, both in your personal and professional lives. >Be me >Employer used Google+ and Chat for comms (this was obvs a few years ago) >Recovery email is my personal Gmail >Use personal Drive to share childhood photos with my mum >Blocked from Drive for some reason >Idk lol >Turns out my professional Gmail got banned too because it was adjacent to my personal Gmail >Lost access to company communications, files, file sharing, everything I needed to do my job >Company appealed, I had to upload ID to Google, but nothing changed >Had to make a new professional account with the IT department as the recovery
oh noo i will use my google account to login to twitter how horrible. Most websites will continue to have normal accounts except the big globohomosexual normie attractors and its better they use solutions like this to avoid being hacked.
normalgays are like cattle
i don’t understand why this is bad
soon, the "register" and "sign in" buttons won't be there and you can't use the site without ~~*an account*~~
even on 4chin?
I'm already using "Log in with Google" for my IQfy account and you WILL too. And be happy.
no, this site will never change under any circumstances
>can't log into website without an account
aaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee save meeee
Not a site account
A omni-account connected to your SSN
and that would be a good thing. finally no more right wing nazis on the internet
>and that would be a good thing.
Yes, of course.
>it's nothing
>OK I lied BUT ITS A GOOD THING!
so i dont just use the site then? that's literally how competition works. you dont like the service, you use something else, you dumbo
this. just make another internet. rightoids are so moronic.
When the shitball starts rolling down the hill you don't want to be part of it.
>get v& from google for wrongthink
>can never use any other online service ever again
Google is so incredibly lax with its moderation, if you ever get b&, you 200% deserve everything that comes with it. Keep seething.
And the media has a right-wing bias too, right you fricking shank? Frick off back to r*ddit and then promptly slit your own throat.
>And the media has a right-wing bias too
yes? what's your point
That you're a delusional moronic homosexual and obvious troll, thanks for making sure to reiterate for extra clarity though.

What's even worse is you can't fricking block this shit with uBlock, it always comes back from the grave.
Can't you disable it in accounts.google.com? I think there was a setting for it.
I see it even when I'm signed out of google, which is 99% of the time.
Yikes.
