thobeit a lot of the ((bot traffic)) is from brand new machines that were purchased for the sole purpose of being a bot. a proper bot computer has to be fast and also understand SSL, Cloudflare and soon ((attestation)) to function.
nothing has fundamentally changed in decades. it's still the same old shit. you can go into a best buy right now and get a laptop that's been sitting there for like 20 years. 1366x768 display, 8gb ram
the only thing anyone uses computers for is looking at social media so the cpu doesnt even matter as long as the page opens
i guess if you play "video games" maybe you need a GPU and the 999 gigabyte driver for it requires windows 11 or whatever. i wonder what the source code of that 999 gigabyte driver is like

enjoy burning 100w of power to accomplish what modern chip does in 1w
you're like that homie that cries light bulbs aren't eternal because the 100 year old bulb exists that burns like 100w of power yet provides only about 4w worth of illumination

Black person, web pages are so javashit heavy nowadays that you can't even browse the web without 8GB of RAM and a CPU released in the last 10 years
>barely any work can be done on them >not outdated

They are all dead af. Update to 11 and call it a day.
CPUs in pic related are ancient by todays standars, although they will work just fine with linux. >And Cloudflare is forcing "outdated" computers off the internet as "bot traffic".
Mostly not true, although it should be this way.
>20 year old CPUs >not outdated
are you fricking serious?
He is just to poor to buy a new computer. Or perhabs too attached to the good, old times when everyone was okay with him being unemployed.
why are they considered outdated?
do you even know?
The usually have 2 cores at best, can handle very little ram , can support neither modern codecs nor modern cpu instructions and they were made with older technology, therefore they perform very, very poorly in 2024. You can't really do anything usefull on them noways and most of those will even struggle to run a working web browser. Even N-class CPU obliterates the most powerfull c2d and phenom models while having considerably lower TDP. This technology is obsolete and the vast majority of people out there already upgraded to something newer. Thats why Microsoft does not care about those ancient processors and doesn't mind making them obsolete. If you do care, give linux a try.

There's no need to change OS until 2032.
This. Windows 10 was the last Windows and will always be, especially since I made a full switch to Linux after it.

Windows 11 is killing our computer heritage. And Cloudflare is forcing "outdated" computers off the internet as "bot traffic".
